seeing it or passing?

I don't know. None of the original cast is back & Danny Boyle's not directing. I think it will be like one of those sequels that seems totally unrelated to the original film.
I'll probably Netflix it and watch it in a few months.

Psh, I can't wait to see it!

I'm down for this, too. Even if it sucks. Hot shit, May is gonna be an amazing movie month.
Plus, is it just me, or does it come off like the Americans screw shit up in this one? That'd be pretty amusing.
Fuck that. A zombie movie is a zombie move. I'm not expecting it to be as good as 28 days later.
That's AVON BARKSDALE from 'The Wire'
why the number 28?

28 Days Later was a zombie movie also
anyways, it looks like from the trailer that it's going to be a long time into the film before any zombies even show up in the thing, whats up with that?!
In essence, it seems like a zombie movie but the people aren't coming back from the dead - they are infected with rage. Zombies are usually slower moving and kind of listless.
Zombie movies are like Shaun of the Dead. 28 Days Later has similarities to zombies but the people aren't dead first and then come back to life.

they may not be Zombies but it's still a zombie movie
Yes, I think it qualifies. I really do enjoy it. One of the rare movies I've watched more than once.

yep, still a zombie movie. i'll see it. eventually.

What? I never said it wasn't.
I'm just guessing what they showed in the trailer was disproportionate to what's going to happen in the film. If there are no zombies by the first half-hour, then it'll be crap.

Its going to open with some infected attacking survivors or the military or something sane and human.
Im still going to see it.

I loved 28 Days Later, and actually wanted to see what happened after the main characters were rescued. It would be better if the main actors were in the sequel, and this one was directed by the same director, but it looks good enough. As Corellion said, a zombie movie is a zombie movie. But sequels rarely make it when they're not directed by the same directors, or at least written by the same. Either way, it will probably be a good movie, regardless of it being a sequel. Just have to take each for its originality.
I will see this movie for sure. The way I see it, the movie is about rabid zombie type humans ruining peoples days, two people have to fall in love, and a black guy has to die... hell, most of the work is done for them.

i HEART 'shaun of the dead'! 'hot fuzz' loks great too!
the zombies in '28 days later' were sprinters and pretty scary.
my lover face boyfriend LOOOVES anything zombie related, so we will probably
watch this!
I'm not sure if I will go see it. I loved the original, but Danny Boyle is awesome. The only reason I would go see it, is well Idris Elba is in it, and I liked him from the Ultraviolet BBC show about vampires.

I personally liked how it ended. The ending just didn't matter. And no I dont think 28 days later was just another zombie flick, it was about humans and what their attitudes and behaviors change when there is no longer any sort of order or law. It was a modern zombie version of apocalypse now and heart of darkness. But maybe I'm the only one who saw that.

you siad a zombie movie is a zombie movie making it sound like they were all the same, then went on the say one might be better than another
Fuck you all!
i am going to see it. it should be fun. slightly disappointed that no one is returning, but if it is the same vein as the original, aka crazy bad-ass running zombies running all the fuckk ovee the place bleeding on people and messin shit up, people freaking out and showing the numerous different ways different people react differently to the exact same thing, and how the myriad reactions to disaster really run the gamet... and how these different peoples' reacttion work together and within the environment then it'll be good

probably not
