I'm cool with 98% of your list.
Outbreak I like because it involves my home town (Dugway, UT), as a place where they make chemical weapons.
Unbreakable was awesomes.
The rest, yeah, they sucked.
know what else sucks? post 'there's something about mary' farrelly flicks. me myself and irene was trash and i didn't even finish that siamese twin movie. stuck on you. and shallow hal? even jack black couldn't save it from blowing.
I laughed really hard at this, the kind of laugh you do when you're not sure if laughing or crying would be more appropriate.
There is hope, but not for us.

Dude, Deep Blue Sea was a good little shark flick... I'm biased though, I enjoy Thomas Jane movies... and really I'm not a Sam Jackson fan...
Love's Labors Lost is Shakespeare's weakest play. Or is anyhow acknowledged as such. But, I hate musicals and I thought Brannagh did an alright job with a lame premise. It's not a great film, maybe not even very good. But I can't put it on a hate list.
Lost in Space, while be a bad film overall, had some good premises in it's script by Akiva Goldsman. The two Will Robinsons and all, and Gary Oldman as Dr. Smith was certainly a "redeeming' feature. I saw it tripping, though, and it had some eye-candy that helped assuage the general crapfest it was otherwise.
The rest of your list is mostly spot-on. Though there are of course omissions. Jean-Claude Van Damme films, in general, I think could all be on there.
Sandra Bullock fluff pics.
Keanu Reeves trying to take on a dramitic role is usually poison for the whole film.
There was no excuse for the Psycho remake.
The Thin Red Line was pretentious on many levels, then invented some new ones and was pretentious on those.
The Yellow Submarine scare the crap out of me, though that doesn't count as terrible I suppose.
Micheal Bay should not be allowed to make films. Any. Ever. Period.
That's all I got right now....
Love's Labour Lost sucked, and so did that one with the goatboy in the garden oin the moonlight, fuck, what's it called... damn...
Lost In Space, just not my thing... Gary Oldman or not, boring to me... not a big sci-fi fan, I mean, I like a lot of sci-fi films, but Lost In Space was not an interesting premise, at least not to me...
I happen to think Jean Claude van Damme's Bloodsport is a good flick, if you forget the rest of his work... though I'm biased because I saw it as a kid and liked it, same with Seagal's Above The Law... I used to really like action films... and those were no worse than any others... mostluy I just hate Chuck Norris films... and anything by van Damme or Seagal besides those two films...
I like some Sandra Bullock stuff. I thought the one with Liam Neeson where she plays a proctologist or whatever and he is an undercover cop in the mob was way underrated... it's got a great supporting cast as well...
Keanu Reeves in River's Edge is good...
The Psycho remake was not bad... Hitchcock is not fucking god... he is remakable... not a bad film, fun cast, I like Viggo Mortenson in this one and Vince Vaughn is not great but I like watching a classic remade with the soundtrack, etc...
Thin Red Line sucked... the photography was great, very modd setting, but it's just too fucking long and too fucking boring and too much yelling and war movies are so overdone...
I saw Yellow Submarine a long ass time ago. That's the one in that Jennifer Lopez/D'Onofrio Cell movie where she smokes a doob, right? Yeah, it's alright I guess... the submarine, not The Cell...
Michael Bay produced the Texas Chainsaw remake, which was not that bad at all... I mean, no where near as good as the original, but since Hollywood insists on remaking everything, may as well try the good stuff...

Congo sucked... Problem Child 2, c'mon, man.. it wasn't THAT bad... House of 1,000 Corpses, I loved Sid Haig and the rest, a good homage to classic horror of the seventies, even if it's just an overlong music video... Fear and Loathing.. that one is touch and go... I personally thought it really captures the drug experience well... I saw it with a chick who thought it was "wierd and oogly"... so it's an opinion thing, I guess... Back to the Future III sucked, 1 & 2 weren't bad... never saw No Holds Barred...

shallow hal was pretty funy, stuck on you was lame, me, myself and irene blew... something about mary was overrated, and since we're on the subject, I can only take so many more Ben stiller movies, especially ones with himand Owen Wilson... I'm petered out on them too...

'Kingpin' was allright, 'There's something about a Mary' is a funny film.. I mean they're not the Coen brothers, but this topic is on an ever lower level, it's not really on taste is it. I guess there's proberly lot's of people who like Farrelly brothers movies, 'Dumb and Dumber' is a funny film, but there's always a lot who think their movies suck, that's taste.. what about some films you know suck and are so bad you know almost no one likes it?
I feel the same on 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to some it'll be a good trip, to some a bad... what about 'Naked Lunch' I watched it with my 70something year old aunt, she was disgusted, I love it! That's the way the world works...
'The Postman' was that mentioned? I never met anyone who liked it...
And 'Deep Blue Sea'!? Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't that filled with, biological and chronological errors.. bad actors, LL Cool J... aaah well. I did meet people who liked it, and I met a few who answered that their best, wich are a type of movie fans I was refering to mentioning it earlier..
I think I never enjoyed a shark movie at all, I was in sea once and the salvataggio was screaming for us to get out because there were sharks near, the next morning I went back and we saw 'm swimming around the rocks... little sharks with brown patterns and stripes along their back, Italian fishermen trying to catch one! The fish were so calm and yet so dangerous, I lost my interest for fishing and sharks and the likes right there and then.

Oh god, I broke down and read this thread.
I was really happy with your list...until I saw 10 Things I Hate About You. It may be a shitty movie, but it holds a place in my heart.

I've actually been meaning to rent it for ages, but I never get around to it. It was on my Netflix queue, but due to financial reasons I had to cancel my Netflix subscription.
And actually, I like 10 Things because I find it highly amusing. I could sit down and watch that movie at any time and enjoy it. And may I point out that liking or not liking a movie doesn't really qualify as a major decision.

Well, Girl with a Pearl Earring was no Hairspray or Serial Mom if that is what you mean... I don't really see how they could do a John waters comedy about the life and art of painter Johannes Vermeer and his muse, but hey, maybe they could have called it Hairspray Mom and instead of Scarlett Johansson they could of used Ricki Lake as the sexy assistant and then it would have won an Oscar!

It's a moody film. It's beautiful if you like Dutch painting masterpieces. It's subtle and sexual and Colin Firth is very dramatic and brilliant in the role of Vermeer. Scarlett Johansson just plays a servant girl who he finds inspiring in sexualand mental ways, a ray of untouched pure virginal light that makes him want to paint and find art again after he sold out...
