NEW Thom Jones story in Playboy JANUARY 2011!!
EDIT: This is confirmed! The title was edited to appease Nate Parker so most of this thread doesn't make sense. It's a happy day for Thom Jones fans!
Anyone get Playboy magazine that can confirm this? It's on wiki that Jones has a story in that issue but his name doesn't pop up when I do a search on the Playboy site. I don't want to buy it unless it's TRUE THAT THOM JONES HAS NEW STORY OUT!!!
(Yes, I'm a little excited.)
It's called "Bomb Shelter Noel".
Will do, you rock!
He was great in Mars Attacks
I'm looking at Playboy right now and Thom Jones has a story called Bomb Shelter Noel in it
Get the sugar. Get the sugar. Get the sugar.
AGHHHH! Thanks, Nikki!
No prob. I haven't read him before so I guess I'm in for a treat.
Get the sugar. Get the sugar. Get the sugar.
i dont remember getting high this evening, plus i stopped getting high like a decade ago, but im flipping through my issue of december 2010 playboy and it has a story by chuck titled "knock-knock". i mean, i read through the mag (avoiding kendra as much as possible, icky) and there is only one short story in any playboy for as far back as i've known. plus, this edition has been off the shelf for weeks now. are yaw sure it isnt the january edition or something. i'll certainly pick it up for thom..
chuck's "knock-knock" is on page 94 and is about a son grasping at jokes to deal with a father's death. also in the issue is a cool interview with conan o'brien.
let's get this straight. i can post a picture if you want

I found this after a quick google search (I underlined two points I found interesting). Haven't read Thom Jones before but have wanted to.

Ah, another January—time to do some knee bends, start Living within your means and break that addiction to online porn. Manage that and you may have a shot with Lisa Lampanelli. In The Hidden Charms of the Mote Luddite, comedy's "Lovable queen of mean" recalls her excitement at meeting a guy who had no laptop or cell phone. Can an off-line relationship work? Steve Garbarino spent time off the grid in Cartagena, the latest hot spot for wealthy playboys, In Wanderlust Colombia our writer-at-larce explains why the city deserves its reputation for succulent seafood and confident, smoking-hot women. A world away, in Egypt, the bawdy tales of One Thousand and One Nights remain so potent after 800 years in print, some clerics are still fighting to have the book banned. Reza Asian, author of No God But God: The Origins, Evolution and Future of Islam and, most recently, editor of Tablet & Pen, an antholcgy of contemporary Middle Eastern Literature, examines in Erotic Imagination in the Middle East the colorful history of Nights and other explicit works. We'd be happy to spend one night with Pam Anderson, who in Pam: The Naked Truth shares her hope that "all your bombs be bombshells." If bombs continue to fall, scan your shortwave dial for a lonely survivalist named Doomgirl. She glimpses the end in Bomb Shelter Noel, new fiction from Thorn Jones. In the Playboy Interview, the fearless Frank Gehry discusses his greatest designs, including the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. and why 98 percent of buildings can't be called architecture. It's hard to know how to describe Anna Chapman, the party girl arrested last summer in New York and accused, along with 10 others, of being a Russian agent. John H. Richardson reveals in The Spy Who Loved Me the strange and compelling particulars of the case. Less strange but equally compelling is the case made in Notes on Jersey Shore by novelist Bret Easton Ellis for a reality-TV drama about people, named Snooki and the Situation. If you need a dose of not-reality TV, catch Chloe Sevigny on Big Love, on which she portrays one of the three wives of a Mormon businessman. The actress shares in 20Q why she is frustrated with her love life, why there's no sex on the show anymore and the reverb from the indie-film blow job she gave a few years back. But this is no time for regrets. It's 2011— hit the reset button!
Oh, I'm sorry Mirka. I guess I have January's issue not December's. Geesh. Can't keep my Playboys straight for shit. It also has a lovely Pamela spread and weird spy nudie pics.
Sorry about that!

Hey Mirka, unless you have to run off and read it now, you can have my copy after I'm through reading it. Just message me an addy.
Get the sugar. Get the sugar. Get the sugar.
Thanks, Nikki! I'll do that that's super nice of you!
Thanks for all your help everyone. It's so odd that it's not listed on Playboy's site, and wiki has it wrong, too.
Even though it was your initial question, you oughta edit the thread title so it's less confusion.
Aww, you're still appreciated!

I will double check tomorrow. Text me to remind me.
