Yeah, so who's read it? Loved it? Changed your fuckin' life as you know it?

Shit it did to me... I feel as though this book kicks The Alchemist's ass in more ways than one. The coming-of-age aspect feels the most original in this book. And, man, did it flow like poetry. But honestly, when I began reading I thought it was going to drag but nah'. It was the beautiful prose the did me in.

All those burried guns in the beginning, I began to wonder when the hell it was gonna' come back and bite them in the ass. But shit, when it did, boy was it a bite.. More like it tore off a chunk of flesh and kept on biting. Sucking the blood dry, just biting and tearing.

I've learned so much from this book, and I'm going to continue reading Tom Spanbauer, someone had suggested to me somewheres, the Shy Hunters one. I've already requested it in my library Smile Big

I've read it. It was a long time ago so I don't remember much about it.

I do remember that I thought the book was very good. The subject matter did not disturb me like it usually would have. And yes - I thought the story was so beautifully told that I got lost in the pages when I was reading it.
