Transubstantiate by some little dick

Shella by Andrew Vachss

Nobody Move by Denis Johnson

What Came Between us by local writer, Patrick Cullen

That's a few more that just came to mind. Plenty of great reading last year.

Did you get the one that has this and a bunch of his other short stories? That was a great one!

I so glad you liked Shella that much. Shit - I recommended Nobody Move to you too. I'm glad I could recommend stuff to you that you loved so much. Smile

Yeah, you know what I like. And yeah, Shella was definitely a favourite. That book got me out of my reading slump and back into reading a book every couple of days. So I have a soft spot for it now.

There's so many more though. I feel like I only read great stuff last year.

Glad to see Candy coming up for a few people. It's one of my all-time favourites.

I love Apathy and Other Small Victories! I recommend it all the time. But I still don't know that many people that have read it.

Also - I totally approve of your whole list. Good job. ha

It's a shame, Apathy is hilarious, I absolutely loved that book. Yep great reads indeed, most of them courtesy of this site. I'm into House of Leaves now (shutter)

Oye, I'm so bad at keeping up with this. I need to get e-mail notifications or something.

But no! The book I got was a double with Tell Me A Riddle by Tillie Olsen. Still haven't read that half though...
