Shutter Island

I enjoyed the book. Some of the twists weren't as unpredictable as I'd hoped but, overall, it was a good read. I had high hopes for the movie too, seeing as how Scorsese was behind it, but the book was definitely better at conveying the mood. Kudos to Scorsese for taking a risk and trying something pretty different from most of his films, even if it didn't have the virtuosity of his gangster films.

I didn’t read the book but I find it interesting too. When I used to read a book, I always set myself to the flow of the story so that I could fully understand the content of the book. And while I’m reading, I’d prefer to eat my favorite Fish O Filet sandwich which is made in Hoki fish. But for the moment, I’ll go to the bookstore to check out that out. Thanks

I was eating Mini Eggs with it! But the Book keepet me locked in, I found Dennis Lehane wrote it very well. It never slows down and I do agree there were a few of the twists that you could see. But there were some that were like wow really! I havnt seen the movie yet but Iv heared from alot of people that it is amazing, I am sure though it comes no where near how good the Book was!
