Ok - this might be a strange question, but I'll go ahead anyway.

When I was in junior high I remember reading this scifi book that I really liked. It was funny like a Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchet book. In fact I kinda thought it might be Douglas Adams, but it's not.

The only thing that I remember about it was that it had "Red Tape" in the title.

I've tried google and I've tried amazon. I can't find it on either of them.

I don't know if it's nostalgia or just trying to see if the book was as good as I remember. I remember it made an impact on me for some reason. I think it was clever, or what I think was clever at that time in my life. I would just like to get my hands on a copy of it.

Anybody have an idea? Hear of the book? Anything?

HOLY SHIT!!!

I could not find that on amazon. I so tried.

That is the one.

It's probably terrible if I read it now. But it was one of the first books I discovered on my own and actually liked.

I'm 30... Graduated HS in 97. So I'd be in Junior High around 91-93? Just guessing... I might have read it in 9th grade. Who knows...

Thanks!

Smile

no problem.

when im not doing photos or graphic design for people, i get paid to scout and hunt books. you should check out bookfinder.com. it's good for comparing prices, but more than that i use it to find the ultra obscure.
