Short for phenythylamines I've known and loved. A truly amazing book if you're into experimentation with intoxicating substances. Shulgin Synthed many new drugs and tested them on himself back when knowledge of drugs was poor compared to today. Don't think it's a book gloryfying substance abuse, it's the discoveries of a man who was and is very important to psychopharmacology.

Anyone else read it?
