So I don't know if this is a glitch to be quickly assassinated or if these stories have flitted into the site's free content section, but two stories by Will Christopher Baer previously available at Nerve have recently become available online, for free. Thanks to a certain eagle-eye over at The Velvet, I'm here to repost the news.

Check 'em out:

Who knows when they'll go down. Get 'em whilst you can, and if you haven't, go and buy the Phineas Poe trilogy and get Godspeed pre-ordered.

It was someone at The Velvet really, I'm just an echo for stuff that needs to find it's way over here. I'm really looking forward to Godspeed though.

Good stuff man. Thabks for the link. Just read The Velvet. Shall read The Eyes after lunch. Are the Phineas Poe trilogy and Godspeed Baer recommendations?

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet - can't wait

the poe trilogy is just all three books in one paperback (kiss me judas; penny dreadful; and hell's half acre) - three fantastic books - WCB is probably one of my top 5 favorite authors of the past 5 years along with CC and CP

anybody know if the paperback and hardcover are going to have the same cover art?

I like the original covers for KMJ and PD. I don't much care for the cover for HHA or the trilogy version.

I hope everyone has read the work he has posted on his website: http://www.willchristopherbaer.com/misc.php

cool. maybe this will provide an oppertunity to break the mold of the current conglomerates who do not yet carry baer books. i'll preorder the paperback from amazon (because i know it'll be available and then run up to local barnes store and order the hard cover. theyve never once gotten the baer soft covers or hard covers through the cage. now maybe they'll get the godspeed novel in. my own private street teamin..

will do it

I think these stories have been available for a long time. I read The Velvet maybe a year ago, but I forgot where it was, and when I followed the link I'm pretty sure this is where I saw it. Which makes sense. Point is, I doubt they'll be taken down any time soon.
