It's not you... it's the story. And it probably won't pull you in. It's a steady read without a lot of highs and lows. I felt the same way about it. Not great, but well written. It stayed with me, though, after I finished it in a way that I wasn't expecting.
That's describes it better than I could. lolIt's like watching a British film. Nothing is really going on... just a lot of talking. But it resonates because stylistically it's good.
I hated it! But lots of people loved it so i will leave it up to you.
Dang! I wish I didn't have this stupid need to finish every book that I start (at least once I'm halfway through it like I am now).
