I have problems finishing books. I start off reading them, enjoy them, but then I find another book I want to read and the cycle starts again. I'm trying to change this habit and I think I found a good book to do so. Toussaint Louverture: A Biography by Madison Smartt Bell. I'm 50 pages in, this is my goal!!

I finished this and its awesome, great dbut novel!

“Those who argue that art and philosophy are proof of human worth neglect to mention that, in the scheme we have devised, artists and philosophers are powerless and largely without prestige. Art, music, and philosophy are merely poignant examples of what we might have been had not the priests and traders gotten hold of us.” - George Carlin

Tanus, I really liked it a lot, it's now in my top 10. Philip K. Dick is one of the masters of 60s writing, as far as I'm concerned.
