So, this is a righteous book and I love it (full disclosure: I run Swallowdown Press, which published the thing). It just came out. Thought some folks on here might dig it. It's going to be the LitReactor discussion pick in April '13, which is pretty cool.

Also, for any East Coasters who are interested or have previously read J. David's BY THE TIME WE LEAVE HERE, WE'LL BE FRIENDS, he's got a reading in NY on March 11th (along with Sam Pink, Scott McClanahan, and Cameron Pierce).

I'm not gonna lie - I've been so excited for this one to come out. By The Time We Leave Here is one of my favorite recent novels. it was so good. and JDO wrote one of my favorite stories in Warmed and Bound too.

Pete's recommendation just made me order this (see how I wrote that--I'm broke and can't afford this but you've steered me towards some of my favorite books the last couple of years).

I hope you like it!

I recently finished it and really enjoyed it. It's really fast paced - which some people love and some people get frustrated with.
