I searched the forum and was surprised I didn't find anything about Librarything.com or Shelfari.com. These are sites where you can create an account and catalog all the books you own or have read and write reviews on them. I think its a pretty cool idea. Each site has its pros and cons, but both are neat.

Once you have books cataloged you can find other users with the same books or the same favorite authors.

So, if any of you are on either, you can find me

Thanks (for all the compliments)

I joined back in february and then I took a bit of an internet hiatus, and then I forgot about the cult, and then I remembered... and here I am.

I'm fairly new to Bukowski, I have only read Ham on Rye and Post Office so far.

Sedaris and Moore are the two who never fail to make me laugh out loud, I have read all of both of theirs. And the only burroughs I have read is Running with Scissors, of which I can't say I was that big a fan. I liked the story but I found the writing to be very sedaris-esque, without getting it quite right. I think part of it was that Sedaris makes everything so matter-of-fact and burroughs seemed to embellish a bit.

maybe, something like that.
