It's May, right? So watcha reading?
I'm reading Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell right now.
Just finished Company and I thought it was awesome. I haven't read Syrup yet. I think I'll have to hit that up soon.
I think I might just grab myself a horror novel. Any suggestions?
Well, if you haven't already read it, you could do worse than Cell by Stephen King. It's not the most intellectual of reads, but it's certainly entertaining.

If you haven't read it, Clive Barker's 'Cabal' is a good novella. His short stories are pretty sound, collected as 'Books of Blood.'
I don't know if you'd consider it horror, but 'All The Beautiful Sinners' is a solid thriller. Well, I didn't think the ending was all that whippy, but I'd still recommend it.

VERY different -- without spoiling anything, I will say that I've never seen a book laid-out like this... the writing style is nothing like HoL -- it has more of a poetic/disjointed approach... I like it.
Switching off between
V. By Pynchon- which is good but not...up to his work, i think.
Random Tennesse Williams plays-.. you can't really go wrong with that
and The Professor and the Madman by Simon Winchester... which is really good, about how thousands of words from the OED were submitted by a mental patient...which is really good but i can't for whatever reason get into it...
Elmore Leonard 'Split Images.' On deck: J.G. Ballard 'Super-Cannes' (his first for me), or 'Rose of No Man's Land' by Michelle Tea.

Apparently I need to take a long look at the calendar and refresh myself with what month I'm stuck in...

Finished Pet Sematary (spectacular) and reached out and grabbed The Stranger by Camus
Drugs by themselves lost fascination for me back when Ronald Reagan was still President, but PKD cuts through that. He gets to the 'why' for taking dope.
Ha! Did you use Reagan for that sentence because of Nancy? If so, that's brilliant.
