It's August already and I am reading...
I´ve read the five a song of ice and fire books over the last couple of weeks. i´m usually not into fantasy but i quite enjoyed them. now i can only hope george r.r.martin does´t drop dead before he has finished the series.

A Distinct Possibility
This is why we can't have nice things.
Every nerd's fear.
Last To Die by Tess Gerritsen.
In Between The Sheets by Ian McEwan.
a travel guide to bali. now i´m really looking forward to our vacation in october.
What We Talk About When We Talk About Love by Raymond Carver
The Robert Altman movie Shortcuts is loosely based on some of the stories in it.
Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.
Oh, it's a good one.

I'm reading Pride and Prejudice for uni in September. I'm enjoying it, my brain is a bit muddled today so I'm just reading The Walking Dead volume 1 because it's easier to follow.
So, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies...
This is why we can't have nice things.
Wow! I hadn't thought of that!
Dexter By Design by Jeff Lindsay.
I can't tell if Amii is being sarcastic or not....
This is why we can't have nice things.
I wasn't, though I can see what you mean, it does sound sarcastic.
I got an early copy of The Wrath of Angels by Jihn Connolly and it's great so far!
*whew*
A Tramp Abroad.
Apparently I am not ready to go back to Dickens yet.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Everything can sound sarcastic with dots after it...
They are called ellipses! why do you people all keep calling them dots?
Respect the punctuation!
Flashover by Gordon Highland.
Respect the punctuation!
I know. I'm so sorry...
No Soup For You!
Broken Piano for President was great! I feel like it deserved to sell as well as it did regardless of the controversy now. And that makes me really happy.
Starting The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury.
You're probably gonna love it, Pete.
All the women in The Walking Dead are nymphomaniacs! It's so embarrassing, they're constantly after sex and seducing the guys. It's like a teenage boy wrote it. There are some pretty good zombie bits though and it's getting more interesting.
You're probably gonna love it, Pete.
Yeah, I'm about 4-5 stories in and I really like the style. I saw on goodreads that you only rated it a 3. Why is that?
I'm very tight with my ratings. Most of the books I like get a 3. Books that captivate me and I find amazing get a 4, and a book has to really touch me to get a 5. So a 3 is a good rating, and I liked the book.
i´m still knee-deep in the bali travel guide but still can´t decide at which place to stay.
Fair enough.
Wow, y'all. You gotta read Flashover. That's a damn good book right there.
I totally agree!
Wow, how convenient! huh!
Living To Tell The Tale by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Horns by Joe Hill. It's pretty good so far.
Started Room, and I find it slow reading and not really my thing, but it's a hard transition after Game of Thrones. I'm gonna keep working on it though. I am half way done with Ender's Game, though.
The Walking Dead ended on a gut wrenching cliffhanger and now it's hard to carry on with my life! The next compendium doesn't come out until October. I knew I shouldn't have got involved.
Why do you hate gay people, Fano? Just kidding buddy. Actually I've been thinking of reading that.

A Distinct Possibility
Fucking christ I laughed at this.
his nose can´t really be this red, no?
STOP BINGING OLD MAN AND FINISH THE FECKING SERIES !
Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal? by Jeanette Winterson
The title comes from Jeanette's mother's retort when Jeanette told her that she was in love with a woman.
I knew that! Let me know if you like it, I haven't got round to reading this one yet.
The Illustrated Man was awesome. Now I need suggestions for the next Bradbury I will read. Either - Something Wicked or The Martian Chronicles.
I started Pontypool Changes Everything by Tony Burgess. The movie was really good. David James Keaton recommended the book to me a while back.
Hey Pete, read The Neuromancer by William Gibson in the meantime.
Pete, I really like 'The Golden Apples of the Sun', which is a collection of short stories, as far as Bradbury goes.
Pete, try Bradbury's Dandelion Wine.
This is why we can't have nice things.

First Love, Last Rites by Ian McEwan.
