badass, yaw.  hard noir story about a fuck up owing money and being resourceful enough to not get an arm broken.  this novel is scored over four issues.  probably around 30k words, only in playboy--over these next four months, starting with the current issue.  swoop it.  denis fucking johnson, yaw.  a noir novel.  no question, worth the five duckettes.
