Conundrum
Alas, my world is ripped in two.
I am almost finished with Dermaphoria and I have a fateful decision to make: my next read.
It's a toss up between Kiss Me, Judas and Clown Girl.
I've heard so much good about both--and trust me, both will be read shortly.
Any suggestions on which I should read first?
Yeah, I know...what kind of Cultie has yet to read either of these?

I'd go with Kiss Me, Judas. Though, i've not read Clown Girl.
Kiss Me, Judas. It's one of my favorites. I've reread that one.

Kiss Me, Judas SUCKS ASS!
disclaimer:I've not actually read that book.
Kiss Me, Judas is like The Road to me in the sense I'll never ever read them just because of much they get their weewee's rubbed around here. I don't know why I feel that way. I'm a brat.
i've never read clown girl, demaphoria, kiss me judas, or the contortionist's handbook. screw all that!!

Clown Girl's a lot lighter than Kiss Me Judas. It's like you're asking us if you should eat an apple or an heroin-laced orange.
heroin laced orange please. Seriously, I love WCB. Hell's Half Acre was an experience I will never forget.
an apple dipped in just-slightly-questionable carmel.
brilliant analogy.
both excellent reads.
if this isn't quotable, then i am not sure what is.
both great books. KMJ, just read the first paragraph and you'll certainly want more. in my opinion, it's one of the best openings to a book, i've ever read.
and done
perfect.

I didn't like Kiss Me, Judas. And I wanted to like it...
I haven't read Clown Girl, so I can't personally recommend it, either.
So I'm here to say : F1RST!
