Chuck Yeager's Press On is also a pretty good book with all the outdoor survival stuff

I've read it.
It's pretty good, if you like that kind of stuff (which I do). He's a good writer and seems like a good guy, but my biggest problem was that he spent too much time telling stories of all of the times he had messed up in the past and not enough time talking about his hand. It was real interesting at first, but by the end I was flying through pages to get to "the good part." It could have been half as long and just as good.
He's defidently a smart man, and if you have nothing better to read it works all right.
However, I have an intense fascination with dogsledding and right now I'm reading the book Winterdance by Gary Paulsen. It's absolutely splendid and I strongly suggest reading it.
