The Unquiet by John Connolly, Fantastic!
The Bonfire Of The Vanities by Tom Wolfe (as if you guys didn't know who it was by...meh)
It's so much better than I was told to expect and I never thought he'd be so juch like Bret Easton Ellis either, I'm on page 300 so maybe it'll last me right up until my copy of Rant arrives!
Anyone who reads Bonfire will be interested in Devils Candy, its a book about the making of the movie version of BOV, the egos involved, and how the meaning of the book got lost.
I'm in the middle of reading Islands in the Stream by Hemingway, but also have to read Put Out more Flags, Evelyn Waugh- and I'm not sure what to think of it.
But I want to get me some thompson or tom wolfe or somethin'.
Just started Clown girl by Monica Drake which is pretty cool.
Before that I read the fantastic Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain
I just finished his other book, I think it's called A Cook's Journey.
It was pretty good. It was about the search for the perfect meal.
It starts to drag a little because he goes to Vietnam something like 4 times in the span of a short book.
I'm just getting into Clown Girl, and liking it. I don't want to start something right before Rant though. Oh well, Mr. P will just have to wait.

I went to the store to buy the Thompson book, but couldn't bring myself to buy a new copy for 17 dollars... so I left.
