Anyone read any of this guys books?
I'm really interested in Carlton Mellick III and i was wondering has anyone read his stuff? If i want to read it i have to order it and i don't wanna pay without hearing some news about them

well it wasn't put out to impress you but from what i've read about his novels he does look interesting, not to mention the fac that my bookstore refuses to stock his stuff is also interesting

Yeah I'd like to get one, but which? My tendency is to check out the most recent, but that's not always the best idea, I'm gonna sniff around.
i originally agreed with morey's initial post but after a few excerpts and summary readings of it, i must say im interested.
what can i say i have a nose for these things, plus the covers are so shiny
I got about half way through Electric Jesus Corpse; It had wayyyy too many characters to keep me interrested, it had potential but I just got bored with it. Mellick even basically says "You're probably going to hate this" in the author's note at the beggining. It isn't really a book I hate, I just couldn't get into it, it is long and tends to get a little "too-bizarre" at times. I am, someday, I WILL pick up Satan Burger, it's shorter, supposedly a lot better based on the reviews at amazon, has a better storyline, and overall has a better cover (A giant ASS in yout face!)---I will give Mellick a lot of credit for EJC though, he wrote the thing when he was like 17 or 18 years old and it is a hell of a lot better than I could do.
