....or is Mark Z. Danielewski on a plain of genius that i can't even comprehend? i sat with his new book Revolutions for like thirty minutes at B&N a couple weeks ago and can not fucking understand it. the way its written, like set up with the dates and historical happenings on the sides and then the text, and having the two stories that cross eachother.....if you haven't seen this book you guys are not going to have any idea what the fuck im talking about. has anyone read this.....and understood it!?
oh i tried to read it, its written in this irritating sing song style and your supposed to switch back and forth between narrators but seriously i don't care if I'm an idiot i just don't have the patience.
Agreed, Morey. I bought it, and regret it. It looks impossible.

i tried three times and never made it past page 80 or something, its conceptual but i have no idea what the concept is, its less readable than william burroughs.
i like how the two narratives start at either end of the book, that's kinda cool. but yeah, it just doesn't seem to make any damn sense. the websites cool though!
I hate the pseudo-poetry style the book seems to have. All I've read from it seemed irritating.
I havent yet held a copy, but it sounds interesting..
