My internet crashed about 3 hours ago, and in my utter boredom I was flicking the channels. I stumbled across a show titles The First Tuesday Book Club.

From the opening credits, I discovered it was a show with 3 recurring panellists and 2 weekly guests who choose two books, read them over a month, and then spend half an hour talking about them.

I was intrigued.

And rightfully so, because the first book they spoke about was The Raw Shark Texts, which i've been hearing so much about around here. They all loved it. (They did this hilarious dramatization to give a basic plot summary, I was in hysterics).

One of the guests was Richard E Grant, and he talked about The Adventures Of Alice In Wonderland, his all-time favourite book.

This thread isn't posing a question, but I just had to write about it. And I really want to read The Raw Shark Texts now.

Yes- RST is highly recomended around the Cult. Im not up to date but I heard Stephen Hall is holding the discussion for an upcoming book club! I read it a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Definitley worth checking out.
