Zip Drives - Help me navigate this mare incognitae

a zip drive is just a storage device
before the usb revolution
it was useful for eg. design students
who may need to jump from computer to computer
and use large files, graphics files
unlike word docs. that most ppl use
and those ppl can use a floppy or email to save their work

my advice is, burn all your spare shit to CDs

or DVDs, they take about 4 gig
