Ever forget your birthday. The last two years it went by and I didn't remember until a few days afterward. Makes you realize you have no friends. Oh well, maybe not such a bad thing, missing the birfday I mean. Like you never grow older. In fact I often reply 26 without realizing it when asked my age, and when they card me at the licquor store, they try to trick me by asking my birth date and sometimes I mess that up too. Anyone else have a driver's license pic that looks nothing like them? I think sometimes they switched mine with someone else's and screwed up the name...

anyway, yes, my license picture looks nothing like i actually look now. i had this long, crazy hair when i took the pic...it was all frizzy n shit, and just generally out of control. and i look pissed off, which i probably was. no matter, they always think i'm not legal anyway, so the bad picture just further incites them to harass me about my actual age. i always have to sign the waiver, never fails.

Actually, my DL from when I was 17 looks almost exactly like me now, but my 18 one looks nothing like me.

I agree, although my reasons for doing so don't include trying to make me feel bad... you see, I am not out to censor myself or my experiences in order to be "cool". I just tell it like it is. If that makes me sad, so be it. This is not a problem for me. It is interesting however how from someone who once found me somewhat interesting, you now are looking for any chance to insult me. It's sort of endearing even. I just remembered because I still have your old personal message from months back. Funny stuff in comparison to now. Life evolves however, as do we all..

Aren't we all... such is the nature of the discussion board beast. Letters and phrases and personalities and thoughts and ideas, etc... all devoid of the oh-so-subtle intricacies of human facial expression and flesh-and-bone solidarity. If I had a a dollar for everytime I've been misunderstood, well... I'd probably have a stack of dollars...

There is an avantage to talking on the board as well. You get the effects of being able to reread and edit the things you say, as well as being able to utilitize comic spacing, spelling, etc.
