She's really called Lola but my mum has been calling her Lol for a few years... and still thinks lol means lots of love, incidentally.

It's not a head in a box, this year. Feels like a wicker basket. It could have a head in I suppose but I reckon it's a picnic basket or sewing box.

That's funny! I added a bird to the of mine, because of your pic. It's a purple clip-on finch (I think), from the craft store. So, now the tree has 3 little birds, candy canes and lights added. It got all pretty and fat with all the extra stuff, just like the Charlie Brown tree.
Issy loves the tree and learned how to say Christmas. And wore her new Dora the Explorer fleece pajamas all day long.

Well I finally got the pics uploaded. So here we go. We put the tree in our Kitchen. In the front nook that has a lot of windows and moved the table to the dining room.

What the girls woke up to we were actually up before them this year. Got to have some coffee and set things up. What is not pictured is a big indoor slide that I setup during nap time and transformed the empty loft area into a massive playroom complete with all their toys, a slide and a TV:

Short hair Imke! It looks good.
It's actually not much shorter than it was before I got it cut. I was so unsure about what to do with my hair that I ended up just letting the hairdresser cut the ends and fix it a bit. Maybe I'll figure something out as it continues to grow.
