Your Teeth: Tell Me About Them.

Mine fall out in my dreams. Psychiatrists like that sort of stuff because they get to tell me I'm gay/impotent/afraid of my mother.

I had a girlfriend who kept dreaming that her teeth were falling out. Maybe you'll have better luck with her than I did.

im not sure how my teeth are holding up. havent been to a dentist in six years. i recently started wearing my retainer again after five years of non-use. im afraid i'll get a gap in my front teeth.

i feel like i take terrible care of my teeth, but they always look all right.

A couple years I couldnt care less of them but the past few years I have taken very good care of them. I prolly need to get the upper ones straightened out a lil bit but Im not a fan of dentists so i might wait a lil longer to get the looked at. I would not be suprised if they said I had to get get all my teeth removed even though I have taken good enough care of them.

I've had all of my teeth pulled, but they keep growing back. I've tried everything from not brushing to meth and the fuckers keep growing back. It's become a real problem. My plan is to get rid of them for good and then get metal teeth so I can be cool like the rappers. Rappers are so cool. They have metal teeth. One day I hope to be a proper robot, but that'll never happen if these fucking teeth of mine continue to grow. Why do these things always happen to me? I feel cursed.

My teeth are pretty gnarly, they are yellowish, crooked, semi-large, I have one tooth that sticks out of my gum on the upper left side, people often see it and go, "What is that?!" and I am like, "Uhm...a tooth..."

I brush once a day, sometimes two, I use Arm and Hammer complete care...

I like rough teeth though, they have loads of character, everyone has near perfect fucking teeth anymore, it's so bland, boring, overrated...unnatural even...

Or course I am just saying that because I have shit teeth, I am owning my bad teeth!

my teeth used to be nicer. i have teeth falling out dreams too. though more often it's a tooth breaking than it is falling out. i loose the tooth anywho.

My teeth are average. Never had braces, fillings, anything remotely expensive. The last time I went to the dentist, I had a free community health care voucher, and the dental nurse told me to buy an electric toothbrush. No thank you, I prefer to do it myself.

Sometimes mine fall out and immediatly grow back, or halfway back. Sometimes they plop out into my hand and grow into big rock sized fuckers.

My teeth are mostly all in good condition but for my single cavity that the dentist said wasn't a problem. It was about a five hundred dollar problem nevertheless, because the tooth was feeble and it broke apart on some beef jerky and shattered. He put a filling in, it fell out. I also have a chip in one of my front teeth but whenever I say this to anyone who sees me daily, they ask to see it. I got that resting my lock in my mouth while digging through my locker, years ago, and it clipped it just enough.

Have only had one week of teeth falling out/shattering dreams. Looked it up, figured it out, and then at least convinced myself that I took care of the problem.

I've only been to the dentist a few times --once in the last decade. I brush three or four times a day, very lightly. I've went a few years without brushing nightly, and probably have an average of two brushes a day throughout my life.

Drinking water does everything for you, so it also rinses your mouth, which I think may contribute greatly to my being of pro teeth having.

My teeth are fairly straight, that said, they've just got a bit of discolouring. Actually, they're really straight. I had braces because my canines were all vampire-y and stuff, and I wanted them to stay that way, but the lady said when I got my wisdom teeth it'd all fuck up, and you know what, my wisdom teeth are sort of half there now, and completely unnoticeable, and there's no pain.

i have venners and bridges and crowns, when i was an anglophile i just thought that letting my teeth get nasty would be part of the look, then when i changed my mind, well it ended up being pretty expensive to get em fixed up.

I went for a check-up at the dentist yesterday which cost me £35. He didn't even do anything, just looked at my teeth. And I booked an appointment to see the hygienist which will be £48. Shitsticks.

my mother conned me into thinking that having a single front tooth out of alignment is a family trait. she has one and my brother has one. whenever i brought up the issue of braces, she'd pull the "family tooth" card and i'd shut up because she may kick me out of the family circle of trust if my teeth were all perfectly aligned.

i went through a severe bout of depression for about two years. i gained weight from sweets and junk food. oral care wasn't really much of a concern. i went to the dentist and had cavities filled when i began feeling better. the drilling sessions were ruthless but after a few visits, you get used to it. you look forward to the numbing and the pain that you feel at the fringe of awareness, like how you hear a flitting moth inside a thick glass bottle.

now, i'm back to my rituals: brushing, flossing, scraping, rinsing (with two different washes alternated nightly) two or three times a day but the fucking "family tooth" is still there.

I have straight teeth and haven't had any problems with them.
They're just yellow and I hate it. I hardly smile without a hand in front of my mouth.
I brush my teeth at least twice a day and I floss now and then.

Mine are in Texas and the front ones are rather large. Fairly white though, I got into the habit of brushing a lot when I had braces since I was very paranoid that I had all sorts of stuff stuck in them. I got all the wisdom teeth out a few months ago. Fuckers. They did them two at a time so I spent nearly a month with one side of my face swollen all chipmonklike and then another month with the other side. And that was my summer, painkillers and popsicles.

I have "teeth going hella crooked" dreams. But they dont fall out.

My teeth are actually pretty nice. After three years of a retainer, five of braces and then another three of a retainer, they fuckin better be. When I was little I had this tooth growing out the side of my gums. So I had that fixed... then I had the huge gap in my front teeth fixed along with my horrendous overbite (from thumb sucking as a child)

I used to use whitening trays. Now I just brush them every once in a while. Or use white strips. I use Colgate toothpaste. Its bright green. My teeth are nice when I smile.

When I open my mouth though theyre terrible. I havent been to a dentist in like six years. I grind them in my sleep. I have cavities and my wisdom teeth are coming in and hurt like a bitch.

Its all about outward appearances though. And by those standards I have excellent oral hygiene.

Front two and the one to the right of the front 2 are veneers from a smashed face freshman year. Bicycling fun. My teeth were sealed when I was young, so I've only had one cavity since. Wisdoms ripped out last July with lots of trippy painkillers.

Living alone has made me productive and healthy and all that crap, brush twice a day, daily exercise, etc. They're probably whiter than ever, but not fake celebrity white. Normal dude white.

Oh, sometimes I also have dreams where my teeth turn around and I have to twist them back with my fingers.

my two front ones are crowns because i busted mine out (and bit through my lower lip). i have an overbite from thumbsuckery. they are pretty white and straight otherwise.

my teeth are alright. i've never had braces, so i'm really thankful that mine aren't scary and all over the place. one time when i was a kid one of my teeth fell out and it was shaped like a heart. (: also, one of my fears is falling down and breaking a tooth. bleh :[

I just had my dental hygenist appointment today. I love getting them cleaned, they feel so fresh and smooth. I take really good care of my teeth (brush twice a day with an electric toothbrush, floss once a day), and always get praised for my good dental hygiene when I go to the dentist. When I had braces at 25, I wanted to be Brusher of the Week and get a certificate from the orthodontist but it never happened (probably because I was 10 years older than all the other patients - I didn't think it was passe though, I wanted the glory!).

I've recently been getting brown stains on my teeth though, and I don't have anything the hygenist mentioned could cause them in excess. I blame the hard water where I live - it's turned my shower curtain brown and it's trying to do the same to my teeth!

Also, sometimes in my teeth dreams, someone tells me my teeth are falling out before I notice.

If you pull out all of your teeth, you wouldn't have these dreams!

My teeth are eh. They're not perfectly bright, but considering all the coffee I drink and the years I spent smoking heavily, they could be much worse.

I've never had braces, but they look pretty straight considering...although the space between my front two teeth on the top has grown in recent years.

I have sharp canines and I semi-frequently cut the inside of my mouth with them. The dentist asked if I wanted them filed down, but I declined, even though the cuts they cause are very painful, because I think they have character.

I have all my wisdom teeth.

Before last winter, I hadn't been to the dentist in about 15 years. Last time I'd gone, I'd never had a cavity. This last time, I had six or so. I got four of them filled, but I don't have dental insurance and it gets expensive when you're paying for multiple fillings out-of-pocket, so I still have a couple of empty cavities...one of which sometimes causes me pain when I eat chips and other crunchy things.

Canines kick ass. Unfortunately mine have all been chipped down a little on their own, so they look like normal teeth...bummer.

I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out at once, then had jaw surgery 4 months later.

Also, did you know in Appalachian culture (and this is still a prevalent custom) that teens are given the graduation gift of complete removal of all (healthy or cavitied- makes no difference) teeth, and given dentures? This is done because of the bad dental care and often-fatal infections that can accompany rotten teeth. The infection goes straight to the heart and kills a person.

i'll have to ask my dad about that. I know he had all his out in like his 20's or something and they were from right smack down there in the holler.
I do know my grandma gave him beer while nursing. maybe it was right after weaning em off the tit, i dunno. I'll report back with answers.

i used to think i needed braces, because my jaw is narrow, forcing one of the front teeth to push forward. i recently found out that its called a "viking tooth" and it used to be a symbol of pride.
