I've already talked about Pete a bunch on here. he's probably the only one I'd really considered a friend. Which is good because I can't really handle a bunch of friends right now. Anyways, we're both in the same sort of spot where we got to take care of the parents right now instead of actually living a life, only difference is he's had to do it with dilbilitating migraines as well.

creepy larp-ers were always trying to recruit me in high school-D&D was fun til my DM drew a oval on the mat and told us it was a square room-when he mispronounced scythe i excused myself mentally

my step dad has always been really into d&d, obsessively, writing long notes on different monsters, when he was younger he looked exactly like that curly red headed guy in revenge of the nerds. The whole LARP thing sounds totally creepy.

I wasn't angry really, I'm usually quite content and smiling here in my room smoking and reading, listening to Jazz and drinking coffee. If I'm ever really annoyed at anything I'd report it for the mods, and I've only ever done that once I think.

I know you weren't actually angry. I'm glad you think my friends are attractive, but after a while you end up ignoring their looks and it stops making you smile when people say, "Oh, you hang out with such beautiful people." A couple of these female friends mean the world to me, but I don't date them and probably will never consider it. I'm no longer awed by their appearance, which sometimes makes me a little nostalgic.

Also, do you not have any pictures of friends? I imagine you have some sort of ancient homeless friend, who doesn't hear anything you say but accompanies you on your adventures around town.
