Yeah, as i get older I'm looking more and more like my old man.
my mother told me that when she was married to my dad she had a whole dance routine she'd do for him to the tune of Joe Cockers "You Can Leave Your Hat On" and now I cant listen to that song anymore without picturing my mother dancing around in front of my dad in nothing but a cowboy hat on.

This is the picture. The man sitting down is my great grandfather, Cepiano, the little girl is my father's mother, who we call Mi Chita, and the lady standing on the right is her mom, who we called Mama Cuca.
My Dad thinks the guy standing up is a brother of Cepiano, and I am guessing the other two kids in the picture are my Dad's uncles.

The non mustache growing gene comes from my father's father's side of the family. See like my father, and his father before him, we have to go through life with a cold upper lip during the winter.
