He overstates his case at some points, too. The claim that no one ever got lung cancer from smoking pot is absurd. There wouldn't be the documentation there is with tobacco because it's used in strictly clandestine ways, but I'm betting 11 ounces of pot in 25 days, over 35 years at least raises the risk of lung cancer.

But I can forgive him overselling it. The drug war is just an extension of Jim Crow, and it disgusts me that anyone seriously believes the government has the right to forbid you from ingesting ANY drug. Cocaine, heroin, grass, speed, it's your body, have at it if that's what you wanna do with yourself.

I'm not sure about the lung cancer bit. I remember reading some studies that nicotine, not tar, seemed to be a greater risk factor. Something about that nicotine gum and cancer in the mouth. I can't find it at the moment though.

Different drug interactions can have bizarre and very counter-intuitive results. He claims that those who smoke pot and cigarettes are show to have lower rates of lung cancer. This sounds bizarre, but I've also seen a study that showed people who drink alcohol daily but also drink at least four cups of coffee daily are mysteriously less likely to develop cirrhosis.

The problem with pot is that the way it's classified right now it can't even be properly studied to determine all its real benefits. I have never, EVER, seen anyone present a coherent argument that supports such a restriction, and yet these idiotic standards remain.

It was alright and I can see why some people like it but I think I'm just naturally in a mellow kind of jovial mood the biggest thing I noticed was the tingly in the back of the scalp
