Because of my red, white and blue outfit?
Tom, thank you for taking the time to scan all of those photos. You really have some great ones. I especially like the little jacket you're wearing in 1st grade.
Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
Big Bird is the most republican lunchbox ever.
I had this one and it was epic every day.

Yes, it's 3-D!
Kinda wish I still had it. I think the hinges may have broken.

I don't think I've ever posted this picture. I figure I'm about 20 in it. The guy that took it really got into photography after we met. He still shoots film on really old cameras.

Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
I don't remember if i posted these in this thread or the other old timey picture thread. maybe both. oh well, here they are just in case.

It's hard to remember where you posted pictures after some time. I was thinking about posting more but I'm not going to scroll back through this thread to see if I've already put it up.

Shana, you are so gorgeous!
I got some childhood photos from my mum, so I'll try scan those and post some this weekend.
I love the Obelix photo Tomtom!
Thank you, Sarah. That's me pretending to be surprised there's a camera pointed at me. I always love when people do that - it cracks me up.
I look forward to seeing your pictures this weekend. They're always great.

One of these kids is not like the other/
One of these kids just doesn't belong/
Can you tell me which kid is upset that he's forced into a hegemonic quasi-fascist system of waiting on food from a higher power when he knows that he's really entitled to food by birth as a basic human right and is tired of hearing the thought-terminating cliche that "i'm your mother and I'll serve dinner when I'm ready"/
by the time I finish this song?

Haha, you got it down perfect. That particular TTC is 'bare assertion fallacy'. Though it would have been my grandmother in that role...making food all day, by herself, despite offers to assist. Then sitting down once everyone is almost done raving about how she 'slaved over a hot stove all day' and 'no one ever offers to help!'

Thanks for the nice comments people!
These are from 2000, 9 years ago, that's kind of back in the day, yeah?

At my first flat, 18, straight out of all Girls Catholic school and into a flat with 5 guys!
you got a little bit of kate winslet in you.

i've always had my priorities right; my dad and I

there's a story behind this sweater.. my the neighbours son growing up used to make fun of me and told me that I was a boy because I liked and wore batman, so my brother pushed him down our slide and he cut his knee open.. brother sister duo not to mess with. Apart from this batman phase, I thought I was a ninja turtle for literally 5 years of my life...for real.
