Worst Tattoo Scratcher Ever
I ran across this but it really deserves its own thread (I think) This guy calls himself an "artist". His work is unbelievably horrible. His page is all flamed up with negative comments too. This guy must be delusional and his "customers" must be total idiots or something.

Goddamn! Just another reason why I'll never get a tattoo. Trusting an artist is... pretty tough.

Not if you find a good one. The guy who did my sleeve is a pro. He's been doing it for 20 years and has a ton of work published in magazines. He even went to art school and his dad was an art professor.

There is a foul mess in the background of the profile picture.
Not just clothing and junk on the floor, but garbage.

LIterally the worst tattooing I have ever seen. Not to mention it looked a bit unclean. That whole page made me cringe.
I need to start looking for good artists but I have no idea who's good around here. I wish there was a site that listed the best tattoo shops in certain areas.

Best thing to do is to look around. Go into a few shops, check out a few portfolio's and talk to them. If their work is good and along the lines of the style you want and you click with them then its all good. Personally I like to pick artists that I would want to hang with for a while. If you go in a shop and they are all cocky and attitude then leave.

Yeah I commented on that one. I told him "Good luck with your infecting people with hepatitis goals of 2012"

The shop I got my piercings done at a couple years ago has a pretty good reputation, and they're super clean. Plus the people that work there are pretty dope. I can't handle cocky people anyway, I end up ignoring them because I don't know how to respond properly without sounding arrogant myself, so I'd rather just shut up.
Just sucks because the good shops around here are few and far between, though there are tons of cheap walk-in shops that sketch me out.

Well that explains it. He's a juggalo.

Yeah we have a lot of good shops down here. There is one Artist in El Paso I really want work from whom I met online. Her work is awesome. She does really realistic black and white portrait work. Mostly from scenes of Horror Movies like Frankenstein and Hellraiser. Back in AZ I had friends who had their own shops I used to hang out at like everyday. My wife even apprenticed for a while, she drew up most of their work cause they couldn't really draw that well..lol Needless to say they never touched my skin. I was offered free tattoos all the time but I wanted to wait instead of getting whatever. But I learned a lot.,

That's really rad. I love people who do horror-related portraits/pieces. That must be beautiful. Is your wife a tattoo artist now? Or did she just apprentice just to give it a try? How long did she do it for?

My wife apprenticed for a while to give it a try. She's always been good at drawing sketching and painting. However our friends were so bad at teaching she got frustrated and gave up on it. She did it for about a year I think. It was along time ago. Would have been nice though if she got good. I'd have a lot more work that's for sure.
Here is a very good tattoo from that chick I know. I want one by her so damn bad one day.

Ah, too bad. That is amazing, and the detail is spectacular. You definitely need to get one by her. And post photos.

You know how some tattoos are supposed to look sketchy and slightly bad? You know like the stick figures and the "razor blade etchings" look? Do you think he could fuck those up too? I mean, his art is just bad. It's worse than a bad tracer.
Those were terrible and looked on the edge of infection. Tattoo Artist...FAIL!
Whatever Whore!
I find it hard to believe people can really be that idiotic.
James' first three tattoos were given with a homemade gun made out of a walkman motor and a sharpened guitar string inside a bic pen casing and they turned out better than this guys work.
Why the fuck would anyone go to this guy? Very synyster indeed. Those are the most depressing tattoos I've ever seen! Ugh! I might be obsessed with this for the rest of the day.
The dude's just starting. It looks like he wants to build a portfolio, despite being horribly amateur. Most of the time, they'll bypass grapefruits, pig-sheets, and a general apprenticeship, when they can simply buy a gun, and have a line of friends willing to play pincushion for practice. The facebook page also seems made in haste and directly after the fact to get more guinea pigs. In small towns where you have deadheads looking for think-ink, they're more than willing to be a scratch-canvas. I've seen a few tattoo shops that are willing to give you a free tattoo (which HAS to be a "dicky bird" a flying magenta penis) for the sake of extra training. He's also probably getting free "drugs" and favors for this "service". It's village fools fooling fools fondly.

Some people, you know... want a shitty tattoo. Really! Come on!

This is why we can't have nice things.
That's down right synyster.
“Now remember my three beginner’s tips for picking up chicks: Address her by name, isolate her from her friends, subtly put her down.”
Hey! I know you

yup, that's pretty bad.
