An evil genius or a stupid good-guy?

The stupid good guy, because he doesn't realize all of the ramifications of his decisions.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I'd say the evil genius. The stupid good guy may not realize consequences...but it's more a result of chance if he does something bad or good. The evil genius knows what's bad and wants to and will do it.

No one here has said it yet, but Saddam is NOT a genius, in any way or form. Sure, he has some smarts, but its all talk. Also, I think Bush would kick his ass in a fist fight. Those Texans know how to fight (but you have to give him a lot of beer first).

And Cheney would whoop Saddam's ass with one hand tied behind his back.

don't forget that saddam has all those saddam stand-ins who look alot like him, so Bush may be pummeling who he thinks is saddam but the next thing he knows the real saddam is swinging in from a chandelier

And don't forget all of Saddam's fuckin' crazy sons who look just like him. Have 'em all come flipping and jumping ninja-style from behind furniture and stuff. Maybe a few Kurds dive through the window to back up Dubya and then we've got a sweet brawl scene. It we could get Jet Lee to choreograph it, even better. :-P

You left out Jerry. But I was always on to him...

Seriously, though. I loathe Jerry. Seeing Tom finally dice that little bitch up and make a meal out of him, I think, would be the most fulfilling moment of my life.

Hitler = EVIL, not a genius
At the moment I cant really think of any evil geniuses that have existed over the years. Napolean is close, same with people like Alexander the GReat but that really just depends on whose side you are on. ANd to answer the ? an evil genius is more dangerous. It is more likely that some good may come out of a stupid leaders moves but an evil genius intends to and will do damage.

Exactly.

A dumb good guy may do some damage, but it's unintentional, and most likely, not on a grand scale.

An evil genius will go out and seek out at a chance to do damage.

I'm going to regret bringing this up, because knee-jerk responses annoy the fuck out of me, but in what way was Hitler more evil than any other WWII leader? Stalin 'purged' 20 million people, for Christ's sake. Truman leveled two entire cities. Mussolini took the first opportunity to lay waste to Eithiopia. Why do people insist on making a scapegoat out of one dickhead when there's so many of the bastards to choose from? And demonising him is just a cop-out.

Hitler is just the poster-boy for evil. People know what he looks like and are quite familiar with his activities. It is more of a psychological things. I guess if you are just going to talk about evil you could throw Henry Kissinger and countless other American leaders who have been responsible for countless murders. But the key word was evil genius. Anyone who knows anything about psychology and public speaking will readily admit that Adolf knew alot about both.

It's all about the 'stache. It just screams evil. Or it could be the resemblance to Moe.

to answer seriously, i think an evil genius is more dangerous. all i have to do to know anything about stalin, hitler, napoleon, or saddam is what THEY give to read about them. heck, they may be nice guys, but they're smart and i've read alot of mean stuff about 'em. fuck those guys. fuck them in their stupid evil fucking asses. I mean, genius asses. yeah.
calvin in his undies makes me laugh everytime i see it.
it's a good thing einstien was on the good side. he could have done some serious damage with all that math stuff. might've made a good movie though.

Einstein kind of did do some damage. He told the U.S. about the atomic bomb. He did it because he thought that Germans may have one. That basically launched us into this nuclear weapons age we are living in now. He regreted that until the day he died.
"I have no idea what World War III will be fought with,
but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." ~Albert Einstein

BTW: I have nothing against Einstein. Einstein rules. Pick up the book "Ideas and Opinions." It has everything from his theory of relativity to his ideas on politics and government. It is a very good read.

Indeed, Einstein is great. I never thought much of him, kind of thought he was just the default scientist for people to look up to if they were into that kind of stuff. Then I started reading some of his stuff on politics and I thought "Well shit, this guy was pretty awesome, after all."

Heh. Imagine that...
