What's your poison?
I've been drinking (eating?) leftover jungle juice all day.
eating as in it had a ton of fruit chopped into it.
Pineapple and papaya and and watermelon and who knows what.
I forgot to mention it was pretty much the only thing I consumed all day on the fourth, after driving to Seattle and back, rocking out and not sleeping for close to forty eight hours I'm not sure if I was more drunk or delirious by the time all was said and done.
Nearly recovered. And consuming left overs. Because.
belgium fruit beer is where it´s at and you missed out when you didn´t have any beer in berlin. after ludwig had his first "Mass" of beer in germany he asked to marry me.
In my defence, I had a Bratwurst with fries. And a steak.
That's what Barbara had when she said yes !

Used to favor Mojitos, but they are too labor intensive. Nowadays my special summer drink ritual:
1. Open a bottle of Stoli.
2. Wrap lips around bottle.
3. Tilt head back.
Tyler!
This is why we can't have nice things.
There he is!
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I missed you guys.
we missed you too. cheers!
and yeah, I will definitely order a mojito at a bar, but at home, on a hot summer night? wayyy too much work
update: I got myself a bottle of Herradura Silver, and it is indeed awesome.
I tend to drink a lot of PBR because it doesn't get me too drunk to function when out. Also, I'm a fucking hipster and it's part of the uniform.
If I'm drinking a cocktail, it's usually a whiskey drink. I prefer irish style to american for the most part.
Special nights always demand St George Absinthe Verte. It's the bestest.
You know in all the years I've been here I've never been sigged?
damn dirty hipsters! actually, I've never seen/drank so much PBR in my life as when I've been in SF. haven't noticed the NY hipsters drinking as much of it, but I don't hang out in Williamsburg too much.
The Brooklyn hipsters take their hipsterdom quite seriously. Here in SF I think we just like our PBR. Dirt cheap, tastes better than a Bud or a Coors or something like that.
We also drink lots of microbrew because there's a ton of them out here. Anchor Steam, Drakes, Trumer, Triple Rock are all within like 10 miles of my house.
You know in all the years I've been here I've never been sigged?
troussepinette on ice. that sweet fruit liquor made from red berries and it´s typical for the area ludwig comes from.

Being in SF makes one a de facto hipster.
This is why we can't have nice things.

this sounds pretty good. can you use it in champagne cocktails, like chambord?
the french don´t like their champagne to be messed with but it sounds like a good idea. i might have to try that ( in germany ! )
well what if you didn't use actual champagne, but sparkling white wine?
I once had a Hemingway (champagne and absinthe). It was glorious.
i might use sparkling wine without being frowned at too much.
i guess.

This is why you are awesome.
