These are a few of my favorite pens...
Yes, pens not penis.
These are the pens I used for your Christmas postcards:

My set before I splurged on Le Pens

I've been using these for years. My grandpa always had them in blue or black. I got a set of color ones for one of my birthdays and I've been buying the color set ever since.

My favorite pen ever (May it RIP) was one from Sanrio that had crystals around surrounding the ink tubule(?), it was pink ink that smelled sweet once you wrote something.
When we were kids we only got Staedtler pencils and crayons and they were very good.
Love those Papermate Signos too, Jaz! I pretty much exclusively use those for writing at work. They just feel right. The colour ones are really nice colours too.
My favourite drawing pens:
I was using a Micron pen for my stencils and then I was using it as a writing tool for a while, and a nosy fuck in my class started criticizing me, telling me not to use it that way because they're expensive, etc. Fuck you I paid for it.
I also use the Staedtler version of those .05, and I love it. My favorite ballpoint is the Pilot G2 .07. But I really love the ones made of recycled bottles.
I just posted that in the other thread. I love those pens. They are relatively inexpensive and they have a nice flow when they write. It just feels great. And now they make refills for them so they're even cheaper.
I have so many it's ridiculous. Some of my favorites:
Le Pen (all the colors!)
Micron (I have several sizes but prefer the finer points)
Pilot Frixion Fine Point
Jordi Labanda gel (I have the red barrel, but it's black ink)

Got a few of these. They're prized possessions (Irina knows!)

Zig Millennium (very similar to Microns)

Zig Writer (I have several shades of pinks, purples and blues...like these for lists)

UniBall Jetstreams...like those a lot. I usually take the cartridges out and put them in other pens.
ANY KIND OF HIGH QUALITY METAL PHARMACEUTICAL PENS
I love these so much. I usually take the ink out and use Cross, Uniball, Pentel cartridges, etc. Whatever fits and feels right.
Some of the ones I have are:

I got this one recently.
I also have a ton of Sanrio pens and mechanical pencils. I'm picky about those because I don't like the ones that look/feel super cheap.
That's why I said a few of my favorite pens. You all listed a few others that I enjoy using as well too. But the list is ridiculous. My school desk used to have three drawers filled with unused pens/pencils. Now have maybe about the same amount of markers/pens but half of them are almost all used up already. I spend about 30-50 dollars when I restock at minimum unless I'm broke.
Y'all call those pens?
I used to have a bunch of these.

This is why we can't have nice things.
Those are quality.
I used to have some of these. I may still, but no idea where.
Doubly awesome because it was yanked off the market because it had an unfortunate side-effect (sudden instant death) and because I was taking it for a couple years when my Dr. called me and told me to stop taking it.*
Most of my highschool homework was done with pharma pens because nurse mom.
*When the class action lawsuit settled I received a check for $8.74 for the years it shortened form my life expectancy. Yay.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Yeah, my dad had ended up with a pacemaker thanks to Vioxx.
One of my former co-workers was married to a drug rep, and we used to get cool stuff back when they were allowed to give out cool pens. Now I get them from ebay.
I wish I had some artistic abilities, but I only use my pens for writing. I imagine people like Jaz & Kit use the good pens for what they're really for!
Alicia, those square pens are neat! And Tuffy, your ink pens are sophisticated.
The pen is powerful. I get it.
I'm a straight forward Sharpie girl. For writing and crossing out items on lists, these are a must. I can't write a decent to-do list with out 'em.
I always use the red and blue one at work:

Maybe I should get a black one as well...
I've yet to find a legal use for these.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Mine. Parker, Jordi Labanda, Jordi Labanda etc.
Currently I use the green ones.
I had a pen with this sort of mad scientist goblin guy that lived on the end.
I mean, like how some pens have those stupid giant puff balls or whatever.
Mine had a scientist goblin.
It was very inspiring and amusing.
I was disappointed when one of the kids broke it.
I just posted that in the other thread. I love those pens. They are relatively inexpensive and they have a nice flow when they write. It just feels great. And now they make refills for them so they're even cheaper.
I must have missed it when you said it, but yeah, I love that they are refillable. The problem is that it's hard to find refills here in France for those. They have refills for everything else, but not those. poopie

Mine. Parker, Jordi Labanda, Jordi Labanda etc.
I have that exact Parker on the left. Think I got it in my stocking one Christmas. It's very nice to write with.
Currently using the blue one of these:

DOWN WITH THE BIRO.
Sigged.
Whoop! I think you are my first sigger!
Seriously, I hate biros.
Remember when everyone was obsessed with 'milky pens' at school?

I would love some now, although I remember the nibs were really sensitive.
I used to draw tattoos on my forearms with those when I was 9. I started the trend in my class.
I used the glittery ones though.

I remember the milky pens! And the glittery pens. Haha.
I'm liking this one a lot:

Ain't that the truth.
I want to incorporate the fatty into my curriculum, so bad. I do lead my middle school lesson plan with calligraphy, line drawing and graffiti(street art and lettering).

I use them for making signs for work.
And I remember the milky and glitter pens. I had a whole huge set of them. Too bad they don't work very well for lefties.

My friend went to Sierra Nevada Brewery and brought back a bunch of these pens:
Made out of cardboard and wood mostly.
I have one of those sitting on the dresser in my room and this morning I thought, oh there is a pen I could say something about. Then I thought Nah, not so cool to bother saying anything about.
I need one of those Sierra Nevada carabiners.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I must have missed it when you said it
Well it was in another thread.

Yeah, I know, but I mean I've been kind of skimming posts lately, so I probably just passed it. That is to say, I was sort of indirectly apologizing for not noticing it lol!
lol no worries.
I feel like we need to have a cult Pen-Pals exchange of some kind
This would be awesome.
Kit, I love that idea!! Oh, we really should do this. I've always wanted to have a pen pal. Let's DO IT!
Whatever Whore!
so how would we do this... you get paired up with someone, you send each other pens, maybe a notebook or a postcard? what do you guys think? It wouldn't have to be a secret but we could keep it secret who got who if you like
We can call it The Cult Pen Club!
I'm Pen 1.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I'd be into that.

Kit's Pen 2. Who else is in?
This is why we can't have nice things.
Melody is Pen 3.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Yeah, sorry. I'm pretty much twelve years old today.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I will join but I might send people pins, to be punny.
harhar
I don't actually want to join any new gift exchange things right now. But people may feel free to send me pens or pins.
Can I be Pen 13? I don't want to be any other Pen #
Dibs on Pen 8!
PEN15!
That's so weird, i was trying to get people to "join the Pen15 club" yesterday.

Totally off-topic. When I saw Christmas cards I remembered. I think wherever you may send me anything from, it's cursed. Or someone likes them too much and keeps them for themselves.
I had a small Parker, received it when I was 13 or 14 and kept a long time. It still works (obviously) but it writes thicker.
I've used Jordi Labanda since high school, they're "fashion stationery" but the nib is really good.

This is their general style, my model isn't online, but I have a green fountain pen + ballpoint pen set. Pictures maybe tomorrow when I am sober and it's not 1 in the morning.
