See - that's the thing. Long/gaudy nails are a sign of sluttiness, but short nails are not necessarily an indicator that there is a lack of sluttiness.

But anyhow, I find them to be really awful looking. I hate long/decorated/gaudy/wathever nails. Just leave 'em the hell alone. If you want to keep them nice and neat, ok, if you want some color on them, ok, but some girls go overboard with it, and I hate fake nails. It just looks.. trashy, I guess. Just my opinion, though.

Yeah, I bet living in Texas has something to do with it. All those froofy haired women with the long, fake, hot pink nails. No good, man, no good. My experience here at school says that if a girl has long nails that she goes overboard with decorating (sparkles and what not) then she's a sorority girl and, stereotyping further, she's therefore a ho. I know from experience that not all sorority chicks are ho's (I dated one for a short period of time. She was a fine piece of ass, definitely a giver. Oh wait. shit.) but for the most part they are.

My nails are destroyed. I bite them 24/7. I am not a slut. I am not sure if there is a correlation though; I'm just extremely nervous all the time.

two theories about this theory:

long-nailed women are slutty because they have long nails inthe first place as part of the whole female attractiveness package. the more concerned they are about their fingernails, the shallower they are, and therefore the sluttiest.

women who bite their nails (like me) are chewing our fingernails cause we're not getting any.

I do know that one time, I was in a speech competition and watched a girl with totally fake, red nails give a speech. She was briliant, her speech was great, and actually, the nails kind of fit the speech (it was about a scummy New York talent agent). But the nails were soo very distracting that every time I saw this speech, I think I only heard half of it because her nails had me hypnotized. They just looked so very trashy and detracted so very much.

Definitely seems to be the case. Like I told you before, my town (town A) is so small that there's no school here; therefore all of us get shipped 7 miles every day to the next town (town for school. Therefore, my town, A, is considered the bitch of B. It is commonly referred to as "the ghetto of [B]." This makes us humble but scrappy, or so I'd like to believe.
