The lovey-dovey february picture thread
Crafts are pretty awesome.
Went to Long Beach on Sunday

Soooo pretty. Why's everything gotta look like a screensaver?
I thought that white pole street lamp thing thing in the fourth picture was some sort thing that one of those palm trees was inside of until I scrolled to the bottom of the picture.
I love those photos Jaz, especially the sun on the water.

Thanks you guys. I couldn't even see what I was taking a picture of the sun was so bright that day. It was quite a beautiful day. The last one is my favorite even if it's off kilter.
Lovely pictures Jaz!
For Derek. Venice Beach shot.

That is so cool!
Jaz, that's great weather right there.
Frank, those posters (?) are way cool!

Ducking Awesome!
Some Day of the Dead stuff I bought while in Whittier and Venice Beach, California.

Those are so cool Frank!
That clock is like your tattoo!
It is.

I love those.
Weird, i almost bought a Day of the Dead keychain today but it was too big.
Frank, Love your new Day of the Dead stuff. What is the piece at top in middle? Is that a skull? I like it the best.
Whatever Whore!
Thanks, it is a skull. There were quite a few to pick from, but I liked it had the art of Jose Guadalupe Posada, who did the other art you see above (minus the Lucha libre wrestler), so I went with that one. Here is another view.

Also I found some info on the other stuff, but I thought this was neat seeing as Valentine's Day was coming up... and other reasons.

Ni Aqui te Olvidare! ... (I will not Forget You even from Here! ...)
Jose Guadalupe Posada's original etching, Ni Aqui te Olvidare! ... ( I will not Forget You even from Here!) was originally published as a set of twelve vignette etchings for a broadside entitled, La calavera de Cupido ('Calavera of Cupid'). These small etchings were all related to the theme of love. On bent knee the male skeleton is pleading for love beyond the grave. The object of his affection, however, appears disdainful. Posada's notorious 'Calaveras' have permanently been placed at the summit of Mexican artistic expression and are a historical record of political and social tradition. Posada mimed practically every human folly by means of the Calaveras (Spanish for skulls or skeletons).

These are actually from several months ago. But I meant to post them then and just never did for some reason.
Pictures of my great grandmas paintings that Jazzy requested. The lighting is weird sorry.
And my little monster of a nephew (since everyone else has baby pictures to post these days) Kid has too much personality. He really is a spoiled little beast. But I adore him.

Damn. That one picture is showing up sideways on my screen. If it is for you all too I hope you don't mind turning your head. sorry.
It's the right way.
I love those paintings. They're dreamy and beautiful.
Cute kid, he looks like he might be a little monster sometimes!
That is actually his nickname. Little Monster or Monster. He gets called that almost more than his name.
They're fine, Pepper. Also that waterlily painting is so beautiful.
I like the bird one.

My great grandma was quite the artist. I pinned over those two paintings of hers for years and years and years. They are oil on canvass paintings. I need to have them re-framed, they are in delicate condition right now. Coming apart at the seams a little.
Everyone else in the family has her work decorating their home and I was so happy I could burst when i was given these two this last summer, finally.
That's a stork. You're pregnant, Frank.
I want to hang those paintings in my livingeoom.
The little kid not so much.
Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.

Mmm chocolate milk.

I did my hair like that just a few days ago! I was going to take some pictures to post here, but I didn't get the chance. Cute!

Love buns. My hair needs to be thicker for that, though. I also wish I could make a French braid of my own hair, but that's practically impossible.
Nice hair, really cute!
pic from party I attended two days ago:

I look like in some kind of trance (which is not so far from the truth)
Here is rest of pics that were made: http://www.barneypartystore.blogspot.com/2012/02/pleasure-seeker-sopot-m...

nothing funny or ironic here, just a webcam pic from boyfriend's 21st birthday and cat-and-bunny-sitting for the weekend.

and here are 21 mustaches and a toothbrush from my mom and a card from my whole family for Chris. my dad signed it, "Only women shave below the neck. -Ron Swanson"

I think I'm done here, folks. Don't really feel like I belong anymore.
Are the scissors broken in your house, son?
The bunny is sooo cute ^-^

Oh, stop crying. Chenoa rescued you. You'll be ok.
Here you go. Clearly not the best photo, but I'm not getting out my dslr for one photo of something I didn't make all fancy on purpose. But it's all made from scratch. And the icing melted because Jude was super antsy about getting it on there before the cookie was completely cooled. Sorry, we couldn't help but eat some before we gave it away... Gigantic heart-shaped cookie with strawberry frosting!

I have tried the Etsy shop thing before with knitted booties I was making a couple of years ago. Also, the pattern for the boots came from a woman on Etsy. She says on the pattern, she doesnt care if you sell them for profit, she just doesnt want you selling the pattern. She also sells hers on Etsy, so she probably has cornered the market there. I thought of selling them at some shops, because I havent seen any like these around here.
I have, in my mind for a few years now, made my knitting and crochet buisness. I have a name, names for pieces, etc. Probably a silly thing, but whatever.
Pepper, my mom and aunt had a craft shop in my teenage years. They mainly did painting on wood and wreaths crafts. I always liked going in there after school and on weekends. Arts and crafts of any kind give me a natural high. Im a crazy craft lady.
Whatever Whore!
