I actually got to bed last night at around 11, it felt so damn good to go to bed at a normal human hour and even fall asleep too!
anyways, woke up at 3 and Shaun of the Dead is on again so let the day begin !!

fuck, went to be at 2am about a minute after my last post, woke up about 8 am and Im posting before i've even had a morning pee.

I am outta control.

It has been a sucky morning. Woke up way too f'n early and my stomach feels as if an alien is going to pop out of it any minute now.

Oh my, early just keeps getting earlier. Been up a couple of hours actually.

I've been up since about 7, already been dressed and out. How's everybody doin'

Both jobs are hoppin' busy, mornings are all I'll have to myself till the weekend.

Well it's quarter to nine over here, so it's not an outlandish time to be awake. I had a few beers last night and too many cigarettes, that tends to wake me up fairly early.

It's July first, so I'm moving into my new 'flat'. It's actually more of a bedsit, a bedroom with a fridge-freezer and microwave in a big house. I went for cheap accomadation because I didn't know how much money I'd be getting this year.

I thought it would be really cool, because the room is so huge in comparison to the room I've had this year, I've spent five months sharing a single bed in a tiny room. Only thing is, all my housemates moved out a week ago, so I've had an entire five person house all to myself. In comparison to that my new place is shit.

I think for me, their floorplans are too extreme, made really for bachelors more than families. Still, using sleeping lofts instead of bedrooms, I have trouble coming up with enough floorplan to cover a two car basement/garage fully.

I've perused some books on cottages and 'not so big' homes, and if you get rid of transitional spaces like hallways that really are just space to clean, heat, cool, etc., you can really do quite a bit with a 200 to 300 square feet. That's a California King loft for the parents and an extra long twin loft for each of two kids, 1-1/2 bath, etc. A bookshelf on each side of the king loft, a split bookshelf dividing the two twin lofts, etc.

I'd rather have something small but well built than huge and shoddy, what I saw one architect nail with the phrase 'acres of drywall.'

Oh, and hey there, get up and get moving. Gonna go finish the breakfast dishes and walk the dawg.
