The first ever Cult pen exchange!
Have you used them before?
I'm wondering how they write.
I'm wondering how they write.
They're fucking great. They're just like the other G2 pens. They use the same refill cartridges and everything.
Oh really. Looks like I'll be buying those for myself from now on.
Yeah, those B2P pens are awesome. When I was working at Staples they were the pen of the month for a while and everyone bought the black and blue ones but none of the other colours, so I ended up buying a bunch of the purple ones for about 25c each. I like that they come in Medium and Fine Points, too.
I like that post-it note compact. Very cool.
Yeah that compact is brilliant, I've never seen those before. Good one Pete! (And Ms Pete)
Sorry I haven't posted a picture yet, I haven't been near my computer in days.
Pete, where did you get that compact?! I have to get one for my sister. She is a post it junkie.

They had them at Office Depot. I'm sure Staples or any of the big office stores have them. (They do, I just checked online.)
They also had high heel shoe tape dispensers.

Well, there are all different colors. I picked the black and white one because I knew you would like it haha.

I already ordered one on amazon and had it shipped to my mom's house, where she lives.

LOOOOOK what was just delivered to me!!!
KIT - thank you so much for the wonderfully generous package. Everything was so beautifully wrapped & just so classy. I'm seriously thrilled about each piece.
These are all really nice pens (and highlighter, too!). I especially love how they're fine point! My favorite! I also happen to really adore purple AND Hello Kitty pencils! So, so cute. And the Jordi Labanda notebook is so very "me"

That's right, y'all. It's a black & white themed Jordi Labanda notebook.

And this gorgeous sketch of an owl. Look at the detail:

He's already built himself a nest. See? I do believe I'll find him a bigger one for the full effect, though.

Also, Kit has really lovely penmanship. And I won't disclose it, but she has a wicked cool "real name"!
Thank you so much! You went above and beyond and totally made my day!
I got my package from Hattie!!!
I have the same notebook, Alecia! I use it for my school stuff and movie and reading lists.

You're so welcome. I'm so glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun shopping for you. And I do really like wrapping stuff, in case you couldn't tell...
Can't believe you had a frame that fits that owl drawing already. I guess it was meant to be!
Go Kit!
Pictures or it didn't happen!
Kit, awesome package. I was wondering if the owl was going to be a part of it, hehe.
yep.. didn't want to post it in the Art thread and ruin the surprise
Thanks Harriet!!!!
I didn't mean to hold back on the pictures. Had the pens in my purse and kept showing them off at work and to friends. Here it is...

Here's the loot:
Strawberry scented pink gel pen
Mint scented green gel pen
Very cool 80's style journal-Yay! I always run short on these.
*Purple pilot V-Pen
*Blue pilot V-Pen
Tea infuser with bling! (now I can finally buy loose tea)

Busted this package open at the gas station, on the way home from the post office. So cool, the package came for London, which thrilled me with the golden royal stamp(maybe all the mail has royalty on it, but it really looks pretty and special) and all.
I immediately scribbled on my palm, to smell the mint and strawberry. Yeah, that's weird, but I felt like a kid at Christmas ripping open presents.
*side note- These pilot pens have the sexy silver nibs. Very suave. I've always wanted a pen with a nib! I stopped trying to use them back in high school, because the ink got all globby. But these are nice and glob-proof pens.
We don't have anything like this at our staples, and I don't think I'll be satisfied using anything else ever again. Maybe the will order it, or it can be found online. I'm super stoked for the nice presents, great job putting this package together, Hattie.
And that tea infuser is legit! I am going to rip open a tea bag of pineapple chamomile tonight and throw it into the heart, just until I get loose leaves. Cause I can't wait.
I'm so glad you liked everything, Sema!
You obviously appreciate kitschy stuff which made us a good match!
Let me know when the fountain pens run out and I will try and send you some more if you like.
I feel like we were all reading each other's minds. This was an excellent exchange!
Hattie, that was an excellent match, yes!
And I've always wanted a functioning nib pen and I'm going to use the notebook for work stuff (so it won't seem so daunting). The infuser is another thing people don't usually use around the south, but it's such a luxury that I never just go buy one.
Thanks for classing up the newgirl!
Jazmyn, we are both big sharpie fans. What are the chances on that? Like I am so serious about Sharpies. And that cute frame that begged to have a gnome portrait in it( btw, that gnome's name is Little Tom, and he didn't mind keeping still for that portrait and was a great conversationalist with the topics of fauna, flora, geography and the best black berry ice cream recipe. But still drew it quick because he smelled of vaguely fox dung).
So me and Jaz, hit the nail on the head there, as well.
This was fun!
And Kudos to Melody, again, for doing such a great job of the whole set up! Thanks, homie!
Pete post the pictures already!
You're welcome! I'm finally off today, so hooefullly I will get around to posting a picture!

FINE!
Jaz really spoiled me.
2 pens I'm gonna use until they dry up. The pharaoh pen - which is super cool. And then the Le Pen, I've never used a drawing pen before. It's grey.
Also - lots of cool postcards and little things thrown in. The Dark Knight one and the Guy Falkes one are my favorites obviously.
And the bracelet is really cool. It tells the story of Jesus through the things/stones on it. I'm wearing it right now.

What an asshole, I forgot to thank you... THANKS JAZ!! You're always so good to me. I'll have to buy you a Belle Aire Brown when you finally make it out to Michigan one of these days.
Woohoo! You're welcome. I'm glad you liked everything.
I can't get my picture to upload. I don't know what is going on. Alecia sent me a metal pen with a light on the end, a cute mechanical pencil with pigs on it, a post-it pen with black and white flags and some awesome Pride and Prejudice and Zombies post cards! Sadly only the post it pen made it through the trip here. The other two don't work

Oh man
WHAAAAATTT!!!
The mechanical pencil doesn't work and neither does the Hoops & Yoyo pen? Was the box smooshed? I specifically put extra lead into the mechanical pencil so you wouldn't run out soon. I wonder if I jammed it or something?
I would never send damaged/second rate stuff. This bothers me immensely.
I really want those vpens. I tried to find them here, but we don't have them.
Hoops and Yoyo!
This is why we can't have nice things.
I have an almost identical looking fountain style pen by Pilot, except the barrel is striped and it's called a Varsity.. I got it at this weird store by me that carries a lot of art supplies/stationery/random junk. Maybe you could find those?
Great packages so far, everyone! I spy an Andy Warhol/Mick Jagger postcard in Pete's package from Jaz. Yay!
I didn't know that was Warhol!
I found the Varsity pens on amazon. But I can't find them in any stores. Guess I'll end up ordering them one of these days.
Those were actually postcard/flyers for a Warhol auction and the Guy Falkes one is from another art show
I still have to send kit her's of the girl in black and white. I just need the right sized envelope haha.
I spy the Warhol on the far right. But the human bean card is my fav.

No, it wasn't smooshed. The pen worked for a minute and then died. The light works though.

We know it's not your fault. You obviously didn't manufacture the pen. It's the fault of the person who engineered the pen. Bad luck. Aw, poor Alecia and Melody.
It's fine, really. It's not a big deal.

Got my package from Amy! Lots of fun colourful stuff, will post pics later but just wanted to say THANKS Amy
HURRAH! I'm glad it arrived, I've been excited every time I see a new post in this thread. Sorry I forgot a letter! I'm an idiot!
I think I'm the last to get my package... which means, I think I know who it's going to be from
I'm excited.
Grrr, my package was supposed to take ten days and it has been fifteen! I hope it isn't lost!
On another note, I was at Michael's yesterday and found some really cute stuff, so we have to do this again soon so I can send it to someone!

What should the next exchange be?
I dunno. But I'm set for the next pen exchange.

Those B2P pens are the fucking greatest things ever.
