The Cult Outlawed
I used to visit the cult a few times a day while in school. However, our wonderful Filtering Software (BESS)...just the other day began preventing these visits. It was like no big deal yadda yadda yadda and then one day BANNED!!
Also--the reasoning the software provides as to WHY the cult is banned is "Pornography"

Exact same thing happened to me today. But Rottentomtoes.com has suddenly been unbanned so I can still be entertained.
for god sake, you have to surf "porn" on your own time, boys and girls.
If the Cult was banned by my school, even though I have never used their computers, nor the interntet there, I would protest.

Yesterday I was on the website and the school librarian kicked me off because she said that a messageboard is too much like email (for some reason we aren't allowed to use our email at school, unless you have a school-related purpose for it). Not only that, she gave me a detention and revoked my computer priveleges for the rest of the year (I've only got 9 days left, but still, its the _principle_ of the thing!) I'm telling this story not only because it pisses me off, but also because it's stupid, so sorry if I've already told it to you.

Oh man, Asians. Seattle is like little Korea or little Japan or something like that. All over the place. My floor is prolly 50% Asian if not more. And not all of them are smart, believe you me. My retard neighbors to the left drive me absolutely nuts with their shitty music and absolutely mind-numbingly dumb conversations. The walls are paper thin so one can hear anything and everything going on in the next room. Never a good thing, though it's good for a laugh at times.

and there's no way we have a 96% literacy rate. 80% of US kindergarten through third grade students are NOT reading at grade level.
i'd agree that 96% of americans read at a 5th grade level, 8th grade the highest. fuck, reporters aim to write stories at an 8th grade level. oh, and some crazy percentage of people can't pick out new york on a map.

not just public schools rents, any business/organization who used N2H2's filtering software. after i contacted them about the fact that this site is the site of a very prolific author, (many of their customers are libraries), they reviewed it rather hastily.
hahahaha, AWESOME!!!! I feel like some kind of international hacker or something now.
