I made homemade chai once. It wasn't strong enough. But it was good.
I put two teabags in my mug today - an Earl Grey and a Ceylon, both cheap varieties. It tastes good but smells like coffee dregs. I wouldn't really drink it if it weren't hot.

I read today that green tea has caffeine in it. I didn't know that. For some reason I thought it was caffeine free.
well, close.. it is some kind of silk or something. they do feel rather nice when you pull them out of the tin.
I've found that TJ Maxx is actually a pretty good place to buy nice tea for cheap, (there's one around the corner from where I work, and I get bored at lunchtime) they usually have a bunch in the gourmet food section, I got a box of Camomile Vanilla blend teabags for about $3.

I also tried white tea recently and loved it. This is strange because I'm totally a black tea person and I love any strong tea, and the white ones are usually the softest.
I just discovered tea with lemon and honey really does help with a soar throat.

I bought two new teas today, until my dad returns from England with lots of bagged tea.
Moonlight: black tea, raisins, orange, coconut, lemon peel, elder flowers, sunflower petals, peony petals, anise, peach flavour and rum.
East Frisian Leaf Blend: leaf blend from East Friesland, Assam leaves.
I'll try them both later.
