SURVIVOR WAS SO GOOD...What's next?
I'm not a reader at all and I was told to read Survivor. SO FUCKING GOOD. I read 3/4 of Rant then lost the book and I just ordered Tell-All since it was his newest.
I saw Choke and Fight Club so I want to delay on those pups.
ANy suggestions on what to read next?
Cody Cackler???
Step back. Evaluate. Recognize.
Moby-Dick
Mmmm.. pick up Haunted. 5x as deranged, but that and Survivor are my 2 favorites. I can't give you any justification on that, but try it out!
"Undaunted, I knew the game was mine to win. Just like in life, all of my successes depend on me. I'm the man who has the ball, I'm the man who can throw it faster than fuck. So that is why I am better than everyone in the world. Kiss my ass and suck my dick. Everyone."

Why not finish Rant since you're almost done anyway?
I would say - because you like Survivor so much - that Invisible Monsters is the closest in style. Choke is the most easily accessible. But if you want deranged and just messed up story-telling then Haunted is the way to go.
For non-readers, I always recommend Choke. I've gotten so many people to start reading with that book.
I haven't gotten to Survivor yet, but of the three books by Chuck I've read, Choke was my favorite (still haven't seen the movie yet but I don't see how it could capture the essence of the book). Invisible Monsters was interesting, and certainly had its moments, but I thought Lullaby was better b/c it was more thought provoking.
You may also enjoy Bukowski or Vonnegut, they're very accessible as well. Bukowski shares Chuck's cynical, visceral style (if Chuck only wrote drunk) while Vonnegut is more satirical humor and shameless liberal preaching (for me that's awesome 'cause he's preaching to the choir).
"[B]eing good is a fearful occupation; men strain at it and sometimes break in two." - Ray Bradbury

Invisible Monsters is closest in feel to Survivor. It's my favorite. Lullaby is pretty good.
