The show was fucking amazing. I got to go backstage and meet Patterson Hood. Now if only I could meet Rhett Miller, my life would be complete.
They're in town this weekend. I'm driving up to see them in Dallas though. The old 97s i mean. I'll try and get some pictures for you, should be a good time.
I have a friend who lives in Dallas and he sees them everytime they're in town. They've only been in La June 2008 and October 2008, but none since then. I worded that sentence all wrong, but you get what I mean. I think they're trying to get on for Voodoo this October, so I'll definitely be there if they do.
Get some good pics! I took a few good ones last time I saw them. Rhett's even tweeted @ me twice, so it makes Twitter worth it to me. :]
When i saw them in Houston, it was a big venue and i had lawn seats but it's a much smaller venue this time. And it's in their hometown so it'll be a good one. I think they play up there a lot.
How were they and where are my pics?? :]
Also, are we really going to try to meetup this year? I'd like to get my shit together and plan so that I might actually get to go this time.
I will for-sure be in Chicago May 7th-14th. I'd love to rustle up some peeps and have dinner at least one night.

I might could actually meet up for that weekend. It's only cost $250 for a roundtrip ticket. I'd have to get a hotel room, too, but $250's not bad.
