Apparently the old thread is no longer available.
This is mine. Yes, it is Teddy Roosevelt killing Bigfoot.

Death Note is really awesome Pep. Best storytelling from an anime I've ever seen.
I'm on my iPad so I can't post pics on here. I'll show you guys later what I have.

I can't change my desktop wallpaper for some reason.

Guessing you're a Windows 7 Basic Home user. Microshiz disabled the ability to change the desktop picture on that for no other reason than they would like you to purchase an upgrade.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Doctor Who something something Tardis something something?
Yeah, the tardis from Doctor Who. I don't know what's happening to it exactly, but it looks kind of awesome. Is it blowing up?
It's warping through time and space! I can practically hear the wahhhrppp, waaaahhhhrrrppp, wahhhhrrrppp!
Always followed by... "Doctor, where are we?"
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
No, it's exploding. It's from the episode The Pandorica Opens. Vincent Van Gogh had a vision of the Tardis blowing up and painted it.

I thought it looked like a Van Gogh. Is it really?

I thought it looked like a Van Gogh. Is it really?
It's not actually a Van Gogh. Doctor Who is not that old. But in the show he painted it. There is an episode in season 5 called Vincent and The Doctor where he goes back and helps Van Gogh fight an alien monster. Then he paints this before he kills himself and River finds it like way in the future.

Doctor Who is not that old. lol. You wrote that as if I am six.
I thought it didn't have enough brush strokes in the right places, and too few in others, to be a real Van Gogh, plus, being a little off subject matter wise. But I thought perhaps it was and they incorporated into a story line or something.
It was kind of a joke because Doctor Who is pretty fucking old. Just not that old. It's been on for almost 50 years.

I picked my first wallpaper. Mostly to mess with the kids, they always get annoyed and confounded when they see this quote and start arguing with me about it.

Love it.

I always have a hard time believing those are real pictures, because they're so damn beautiful.
i think most of those are colored in. as i think i understand it, we don't know their color per se because the telescope takes black and white images but we base the coloring off of the measured spectrum of light provided by the object photographed.
i'm testing this one out. i'm not really that into busy backgrounds.

Been using this one for quite a while.

That makes sense. Thanks!

Seems that thread was in the writer's workshop, boo.

Wow Steve, you're alive! Welcome back.

Awesome! That reminds me of the cover of By The Time We Leave Here, We'll Be Friends.

I don't know why, but for some reason, that picture and the words "I think" bring to mind Déscartes. I think it's appropriate. Don't know why I never thought of that before.

Weird, the old thread disappeared?
