So I finally got a pinterest account...
And I want to be friends with all of you!
Find me here: http://pinterest.com/mekiper/
I'm all ready having way too much fun with this. I thought it might be a good way to get some visibility for some of the items I have up on etsy, but I've really just been pinning things I like.

I've only had it for a few hours, but I've been going pincrazy!

I singed up for that some months ago, I think I pined one thing, a picture of the moon, and haven't been back. I have gotten about a half dozen emails that random people I do not know are following me now.
Haha. Well it is pretty fun and addictce!

That is what I hear. I have enough internet addictions already.
Plus, I forgot my password and all the rest too.
Hooray for Pinterest! I'm not pinning as much as before, but I still stop by to add images.
I'm addicted to tumblr already so I promised myself I wouldn't get a Pinterest account. Although if I ever do, it will be totally SFW.
Yay for Pinterest! I go through periods of not pinning anything for ages, then I go on a streak and pin a whole bunch of stuff. I just followed you, Mel
I found this the yesterday and thought it was really cool.

We have old tins at work all the time and we sell them for $.25-.50 a piece. So today I grabbed 15 of them and when and got some turquoise and green spray paint. I have some ideas that I think might be cooler than the paper she glued on hers. I picked up some rubber stamps on clearance. I'm going to use some of those with white paint and do some other designs with a paint brush. I also picked up some clear coat to protect to surface. If they turn out well I'm thinking I can try to sell them.
It took me about an hour to prep them all. Getting the nasty labels off was the hardest part. I didn't sand all of them, only the ones that had rust on them. I just picked up some Rust-Oleum primer, that should take care of making sure the paint adheres to the metal. I just sprayed them down with primer. It took me a minute to remember how to properly use spray paint. I always want to get it covered in one coat and then of course it is too thick and drips, so I'll have to sand a couple of them and start over.

Nope, it seems I should have sanded all of them. Guess I have to start over. BOOO.

Melody, I love you, but I won't be Pintering anything.
Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.
I agree. I wasn't asking you to pin anything Tuffy, nor did I expect you to.

Girl Reddit. They needed it.

Totally. My husband is forever asking me "... but what is the point of it?"
Phase one is complete on a good portion of them. The primer was too thick on some so I have to sand them down and do them over. I ran out of primer so when I was at the store I picked up some pink paint as well. I don't like pink, but I know other people do.

Next step, decorating!
