smoking in NYC

i know, they lump them in with resteraunts and other public places.
i'm wondering when they'rre going to pass a law that says i can't smoke in cars too. or my house.

didn't ya' know that a bar is a family place? kinda like the simpsons when moe made his bar into a family eatery. didn't he just about kill everyone in that episode?

I didnt even all of this thread, but whoever thinks "I have a right to kill myself etc." obviously thinks they have the right to kill everyone around them too.

they already have in delaware and NY and in delaware if the person behind your car can smell the smoke they can call the cops

Because it's smoke, thats how. It's part of the air. Look at airbourne viruses. They get all sorts of people that weren't aware of it.

I once had a cop pull me over because he claimed he smelled weed coming from my car as he passed by me on the highway, both of us doing ~70mph. So, somehow, (I assume using his superhuman power of smell) he managed to pick out just what car it was out of the dozen or so cars around me. Righto.

I never said that people can't smoke, I was just replying to the sarcastic way you said "what non-smokers go through" it may be worse than what you realize. that's why my perfect solution is for it not to exist, not for people to do what I want them to do, i never expect that.

and yes, perfumes are bad too, you should smell some of the women that come through my work. one reason why I don't like working in the mornings when everyone's just gotten ready.

heh, I must have the most sensitive nose on the planet. I can smell smoke from a car in front of me if their window is cracked or down.

It isn't only the actual smoke you can see, it spreads out in the air, and even w/ the vents set for outside air, I can smell it if someone's smoking in another car. sometimes.

It´s the fucking bad smelling smoke and the attitudes these people smoking in restaurants/whatever.. that pisses the non-smokers, not some fucking label saying how wrong smoking is shut it ye big crap!
