I've had the misfortune of being formerly related to people of, literally if not worse, the mentality of these.

Things like this, have always inspired me to try and be articulate and factual as possible. Helps keep me honest about things I say wrong, as well. Hopefully I can catch/correct myself saying stupid things, before I spread foolish stereotypes.
Some of those weren't actually racist. They were more just anti-Obama. The person that ran the site seems to have a really hard time distinguishing between the two.

Dude, seriously? This isn't about left and right. This is about pointing out people who say racist shit. And yeah, some of them didn't say "racist" stuff, but talking about assassination, because Obama was reelected, that shit still needs to be pointed out.
If I say something on this subject, then no matter how documented (like stubbysocks), I'll be interpreted by some as a whiny minority colored person. Too sensitive, that can't take a joke or "it's not about you, its about niggers" or the old I-made-my-point-through-racism-but-that's-not-the-point.
Fano, they called them racist for saying they want to shoot Obama. I pointed out that it wasn't racist, because of the stupidity I constantly see where people have trouble making the distinction. Yes, that ties into right vs. left. Yes, it should be pointed out, but not as such. Simmer down.

I saw a few.
The one that put me off was when someone had tweeted something like, "Fuck Obama and all the lazy fucking people on welfare. he supports. Get that fucker out of office!" Above that, the site owner put something like, "This person believes minorities are all lazy and on welfare," or something like that. I made sure that that's all that was in that entry. I was looking for some kind of racial slur, or any indication of racism. Nothing. That's when I decided to post about it. Before that, I saw one (I think this the one that Fano was referring to) that said something along the lines of, "Fuck Obama! Somebody shoot that fucker!" Again, no slurs in the entire entry. Not in the comments or anything.

Seems like people automatically assume that if you don't like Obama, it's because he's black. Which is basically just reverse racism and it's fanning the flames. I don't like Obama because he creeps me out, the way he talks and the way every picture of him looks like this:

I don't agree with what these people are saying, but I most certainly do not think it's okay to "out" them and put out info about exactly where to find them and where they work, etc. That's not alright.

I was disappointed to see that this website was taken off the internet. I am not the originator of this site, but I will try to restore it to its former glory.
Some people are angry that this may cost these fools, that they won’t be able to get a job, or get into college. This makes no sense. Here you have fools who are judging others on the basis of the color of their skin, and I am supposed to feel sorry for them if their foolishness causes them problems? Please.
Others say that teenage racism should be excused, because teenagers have a problem with impulse control. This also makes no sense. The problem is not that they voiced their racism, but that they hold these views to begin with.
If any of these idiots wants to respond to what they have done, contact me and I will post your comment in full. If you have a compelling explanation for why you posted this, inform me and I will remove the entry.

It's not okay to broadcast where a person may be found, physically, just because you don't like their ignorant opinions. You don't have a right to potentially send a violent person their way.
It was wrong when Michelle Malkin did that to a group of Young Democrats at a University because she viewed their opinions as supportive of terrorists. It was wrong when that group turned around and did the same thing to her.

Teenagers do and say stupid things. As long as they're not psychopaths, you should try to correct but, when it comes to retaliation or retribution, you have to turn a blind eye. You don't know what influences are affecting a teen's life.
Ten years ago, when I taught in a middle school, there was a looming budget crisis in my school district (go figure). One of the arguments was to close some of the outlying city schools and enroll the students into the closest suburban school district. People from the suburbs complained. In class, the students were voicing their perceived injustices to me; explaining that white people get everything. As the conversation became more hostile, one kid exclaimed, "We should kill all the white people."
I replied, "Really?"
The kids laughed and the young man said, "Not you mister--you're not white."
Alecia said it perfectly. These are ignorant opinions. And many of them are learned somewhere. I'm not at all condoning, or even giving a pass, to what these kids are saying. I just don't think it's right to lambaste and ruin someone's life for something stupid they did as a kid.

alright, after rereading... this sounds pollyanna; but I'm guessing most of these posters are 11-17 year-olds. Should they really be stigmatized and judged for the rest of their lives for something they posted when they were kids? Yes, their ideas are f'd but what these kids need is a good beating. Not something that will mess with their future--leaving us to pay for them (because they cannot get an education, training, or chance to get a good job) to live and, most likely, perpetuating their f'd ideas.

The people running this website need a goddamned hobby. I'm sure they feel like vigilante whistleblowers, but they need to step back and realize that whomever feels comfortable posting this information in public is probably from an area where it's socially acceptable, was raised by a family that thinks it's socially acceptable, etc. While the intentions, are um, sort of good? I guess? Really they're accomplishing nothing. I doubt they're making these people any more embarassed about their posts than they were previously. They're just going out of their way to prevent a large group of next-gen people from getting hired or accepted into colleges. Which probably won't fuck up our economy, because if successful it'll be like what, 200 people? But they're sort of trying. Well played.
