I gave Tuff the go ahead to pass my thoughts along to you during a discussion we had the other day. Don't know if he did that or not, but the gist of it was--and this should answer the question of "why her name resurfaces every ten minutes?"...it's because it's been ten months, or Feb. 6th of 2010 to be a little more exact, and we STILL get alts. Ten months, man. It's old. People are sick of it. The new kids don't feel welcome because, as you said, everyone is paranoid. So that's my gripe: ten months, and we're still dealing with this shit. If the alts would stop, then things would move on. A lot of people, believe it or not, agree with that.

thinking that people didn't hate her until she was banned is silly. I was always civil to her, but I never liked her. I didn't talk shit about her either.

As for just clicking away, I tended to ignore her, but it was pretty impossible to be around the Cult and completely ignore six.

Man, completely honest here, I know three people who have made ALTs here who weren't Six, and those three people laugh about it, knowing they're jail-free because no matter everyone assumes every alt ID is Six. If I made an ALT here, if you made an ALT here, if fucking Lou made an ALT here, everyone, no matter what, would think it was Six. Benefit of the doubt: Assume it might not be. Nevermind, though. This is a chicken or the egg argument.

Every time she's talked about she makes an ALT. I don't know for sure if that's true, --I don't think it is-- but assume it is. At this rate it's never going to stop. You can't google her fucking name without this place popping up, and it's always somebody talking shit. Truth: When have you ever hated somebody for working at a coffee shop? That's juvenile bullshit. Why even bring that up? My aunt worked at a coffee shop. My grandmother worked at a coffee shop. I live in the town with the lowest job availability rate of anywhere in Ontario, and I'd work at a mother fucking coffee shop.

Nobody is gonna sit back when people are talking shit about them. She could crash the cult right now if she wanted to. She could make a hundred ALTs in under ten minutes and post with each of them, and it's all a message. The message is this: Shut the fuck up about me.

Tell me you don't see where I'm coming from here. You've started and finished a novel, you know what a story is, beginning from end. Tell me you don't see that before you were here, there was half a decade of history, and that's being dragged through the mud for a person brought up every day who can't defend herself.

Newbs are afraid to post? Simply: Fuck that. Newbs don't know who Six is. It's an intellectual environment and newbs have always been afraid to post. You come here loving Chuck and every member with more than a thousand posts talks shit about him, not knowing at all what they're talking about. Newbs have always been hated here. I was hated here.

The truth is, Six could not make a single ALT here for a year, and people would still be blaming her for shit. The extent to which she's become villainous here is paramount--ridiculous. If she was that much a demon I'd love her twice as much. It's impossible. It's in your heads! It's in your brains. Let it the fuck go.

Six doesn't just flame people online, she attacks, without provocation, people's real lives. You can't click away from that, and Danielle attacks people in their real lives as casually as she terrorized noobs away from the Cult.

Danielle attracts the weak-willed and insecure who long for acceptance. So, yes, she has her supporters here. Not very big on personality, the lot of them, but they're present. But those who consider her a "friend" do so only until they realize that she has shit all over them. Again and again and again. She has proudly spilled - to me, someone she openly despises - the most intimate and vile secrets of some of her closest friends. Maybe they were true, maybe not. I'll only clarify one thing...the reason some of the new kids don't feel welcome aint because of her, it's because the vets think it's another alt, so it's not business as usual with the lobster and the sammich. It's trying to find out if this is a genuine new kid or six.

And yes, we're fully aware she doesn't comprise every alt...just most.

I apologize to the various tattooed people for for derailing the thread with my seemingly innocuous question. She goes by so many names it's difficult to keep up. I don't feel it appropriate to address your post in this thread, as it is a tattoo thread. I am thinking of starting a new thread about the talking of shit on the internet and why people feel the need to defend themselves and others when all it does is add drama. I think I should call it "I am a dirty, dirty whore."

And getting back to the subject of the thread, I should get that phrase tattooed as a tramp stamp, all Celtic-like, with the words "Dirty" and "Whore" printed on each butt cheek. Why?

I remember my first visit here. I got on chat and started this whole thing on there about Pygmy, and I went so far as to badmouth Six, myself. After awhile of regrouping my thoughts of you people and coming to the conclusion that this wasn't like other places on the net, she was the first to accept me into the regularity of this site. She never judged. Granted, she poked fun, but I never took it as anything different. Yes, I support Six, and no, Tuffy, I'm not a weak-willed acceptance-seeker. You know I'm not. Six was interesting to hear, and I never saw her do any of the things she's been accused of, here. I could kinda see it, but to me it seems like people just take her humor the wrong way. If she's been involved in personal attacks on this site, it always seemed like she took the time to explain herself. I agree with Night. Let's just stop talking shit about her.

I love black and grey traditional American, Chicano, and realism (mostly just portraits, pin-ups and roses though). That's the kind of stuff I like to see on other people, and it's the kind of stuff I like to put on myself.

I despise the biomechanical style crap. It looks awful and I just don't get it. I don't like New School style either. That's where they take Old School, or traditional, subjects and make them all new, and shiny and colour it with stupid colours.

Anyone got any cool space-related tattoos/tattoo ideas? I'm kinda obsessed with cosmology (kinda. i'm more into the beauty of it and what it can teach us about ourselves), and I'd really love to hear some tattoo ideas for it.

That's a nice idea, Lib. To tell you the truth, off the top of my head, I think the only space-related tattoos I've seen have been cartoonish in nature. Nothing huge and realistic. But a massive space piece would look incredible if you got the right artist on the job, I reckon.

I was kinda thinking something that could symbolize the idea that the elements that eventually lead to our creation came form stars, or the idea that stars can technically be considered life, themselves. I don't know, I guess I was kinda looking for something a little more tribal-looking that could symbolize this, like a fetus growing in a sun, or something, haha.

Traditional American, or old school, is the old sailor tattoos, and the like: Pin-ups, swallows, tall ships, roses, lots of roses, your girls name in a love heart et. al. Normally the tattooist will stencil onto the skin from something know as flash art. it's a pre-drawn design, used over and over and over again. Most traditional American style tattoos look similar, but that's the joy of it! You've probably heard of Sailor Jerry? He pioneered the shit out of the American style. It's really the classic style.

This is a design from one of my favourite contemporary traditional artists, Angelique Houtkamp:

New School, like I said, take the old school ideas and, i guess, updates them, making them bolder and brighter and more stylized and 2 dimensional than the original 2D designs that stuck with primary colours, thick outlines and block lettering:

Biomechanical is all that skin ripping, exposing robotronic parts underneath and all that crap. The only piece of this I've seen and liked, and it was purely for a bit of a laugh, was a chest piece that had the skin ripping open, exposing a spiderman suit. I thought that was a really cool idea, though i'd never get it done myself. But keep in mind, just because I don't like it doesn't mean there aren't a million people out there that do. IN fact, biomech is probably one of the more popular styles around now.
