I keep having these dreams where I own these houses that I keep them mostly empty for some reason though a few are lightly furnished. I go visit these places for some unspecified reason, maybe just to "check in" on them or maybe I'll be using them for a few days, only to discover signs someone else has been inside: a light one, furniture moved around, a makeshift bed made up in the corner of one room, and in some cases, the unmistakable feeling that whoever did this is still inside the house.

My diagnosis - you're not who you say you are.

Though I've had similar dreams (that are actually totally different ha).

I have recurring dreams that I have this awesome mansion. And I feel so good because I earned it. Something I did actually worked. So, yeah, it's not like "Awesome I'm rich!" It's more like, "I did something and I'm successful!"

I'll work on interpreting the ones I haven't yet later.

My most oft recurring dreams, aside from the epic apocalyptic otherworldly ones (which are my favorites as they always feel real in a different way than others) involve me finding myself inside one of my old houses or apartments, always a different one. The place is empty at first and I am there squatting, but then when I want to leave and try to gather my things there always seems to be more things than I can collect. The more I try to pack up the more the rooms fill with my possessions, until I am in a frantic state, at this point I look outside and see that my old landlord/landlady is on their way up the drive, they seem to be moving up in slow motion as I continue to try to gather my things and escape before I am found out. I always wake up just as I am in tears of panic with mountains of belongings around me and the landlords hand is reaching for the doorknob.

This past year, however, it has changed to me being inside one of my childhood homes or my current home, and I have every right to be there, but the more I look around the more I see the place is breaking down, falling into ruins. I find cracked walls, sinking ceilings and holes in the floors that get worse every time I look at them. Anyone around will not pay attention to the crumbling apart and I awake just has the house is falling into a rotting mire of a sink hole that has opened to swallow the entire property, with me with it.

I just woke up from this dream I need to write down before I forget.

It was my high school graduation in which we were seated at separate tables, banquet style with our families, eating dinner. Quite the formal event. My table was in the center of the room next to my best friends' tables. As they were announcing how we were officially graduated I was preoccupied with eating my dinner but then realized my friends were getting up to say goodbye, lots of underclassmen, so I got up to give them hugs and tell them I would miss them. Then one of my best friends said how she didn't realize that it was finally over. I went back to my seat to finish my last bites and got gravy on the jacket I was wearing as I was about to clean it, slightly disappointed that I dirtied it, my father turns to me and starts scolding me in an angry bitter tone. I stand from my chair to get closer to him and respond in a stern voice that I'm no longer a two year old and tell him that after this dinner he is no longer a part of my life if he continues to behave in such a way.

It was pretty intense, filled with emotion. I was pretty nonchalant about graduating, tender hearted towards my friends, while still worried about getting to finish my meal, and finally standing up to my father.

I had a dream where I thinking about this show I once downloaded. It was about a normal family that move into this neighborhood between a small family of blue-collar werewolves and a big family of aristocratic vampires and the human family constantly has to play mediator to the two monster families constant squabbling (Which by the way is a pretty fucking great idea for a show which is why I'm copywriting it right here, right now: ©justinrmayberry). In my dream the show had about 4 episodes but never aired, which is why I had to download it.
