Redditors are asked to donate $2,000 to build a wall to keep a Kenyan orphanage safe. They don't, instead they donate $80,000
Socialist!
This is why we can't have nice things.
No really guys!
I'm still laughing!
I like you.
Laying it on a little thick there honey. Be careful, wouldn't want the other girls to be jealous.
I hate election years.
So they raised $100,000 in a week? That's pretty cool.
Oh look, something on topic.
I haven't checked back, but that sounds right. $100,000 is more than these people could ever imagine. I would be surprised if it is not enough for them to build entirely new facilities as well as food, supplies and guards wages.

1. Not if I plan on doing something substantial with my life, Tuffs.
2. Never used it incorrectly, at least not with the way we kids use it these days, ol' timer. As far as what I originally said, maaan, and you claim I'm the one that has trouble with English? The only point of that response was to show how you misinterpreted "people" as "people on here". No, just because you misinterpret what I say doesn't mean I'm backing away from anything when I correct you, you moron (didn't even need to be a dirty word). You might as well have misinterpreted it as "people in Algeria".
3. Really? Do you not understand that when the government takes over a product/service market, it only does so because it deems it as necessary? And why would things like that be necessary? Because people assume others are too evil to provide enough to others in need (when they have the means).
4. Yeah, that sucks. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like you understand anything about what would happen if we actually did wind up with "free" healthcare. Nor do you understand the idea of what happens when a market is deregulated (to the point of competition rising, reducing cost and price down to far more affordable levels) and allowing for said private charities to have to cover less and less people, or at least provide more for those who need it. Never have I claimed it would ever be free.
No, it's not the majority. Last time I checked, it was 1/5. Try to be accurate. Yes, that's fuckin' high. I had health insurance... once... for awhile. Stop assuming things about me after trying to use pathos. Anyway, less would be able to afford it if we made it illegal to turn away people with pre-existing conditions. Costs rise, and always do rise with such regulations. Our economy cannot currently afford anything even close to Obamacare. I just used it as an example of how "people" think we need to be forced to give our money to each other.
5. Refer to 3, bitch.
