Hey Amber, I am in no way trying to scold you for trying to take care of yourself. And I don't think you are seeking out meds. I'm really sorry you took what I said that way, because it's not intended that way. I'm just being over paranoid, like I said, because I just went through my issue with the Oxys. I feel terrible now for saying anything at all. Especially since you say you won't talk about it here anymore. I know I tell and say things to you guys that I don't maybe feel so comfortable talking to people in my real life about. I think you may do that also and it would make me feel super bad if you think you can't do that anymore because of me saying something to you.
Well, I hope you aren't to upset with me and understand why I said it. I'm sorry that to you it came across as accusatory, because I didn't intend to do that. I guess I just said too much and am butting in where I shouldn't.
Sorry.

edit @ tuff

A time to stop?

Is the past so terrible? It is not now nor what will be you know.

Did you know that the first and foremost thing that the brain remembers is the pain one has had? It is a survival mechanism, so one knows what to avoid in order to avoid death.

The second thing the brain remembers is everything wonderful and good, in order to know what to strive for when imminent danger is not present.

It is really a rather silly thing, if you think about it, as we are no longer creatures of the wild striving for literal survival day to day moment to moment. But yet we are in a way, aren't we? It is just a different survival. A survival of our own trauma and hopes, rather than one of where to find food and how to not be eaten alive.

*hugs*

Drink up, but there better be a stopping point you find. I do not know who or what reminded you of your broken heart. But I kinda like your crooked heart and mind so please don't be too ridiculous.

I think most people need a little medicating at some point in their life.

PA:
Work's all crazy at the moment. Not too busy or anything, just people leaving, a new boss, lots of rumours floating around. And I just don't know anything for certain here anymore.

It's a good place and Lucy loves being here, though.

I bought a moses basket for new baby.

Sorry.

Nah. again. don't worry about it. I do absolutely understand where you were and are coming from, as well as know how it sounds for me to say that a doctor did not actually prescribe me these but that I got them "black market" (lol, for lack of a better way to out it)

I appreciate people telling me how it is in a forward manor. I really do.

I can get quite moody over things people say to me, but given time to silently think about it my mood generally passes easily and quickly when it is over small things.

In the moment I read your post it annoyed me (can't really say why), that does not mean I am truly annoyed with you as a person or annoyed by the post anymore now that a little while has passed.

I think you are doing a good job and I am rooting for you for real to overcome the issues with pills that you have been having. Keep at it. Smile

Sarah, have you used a moses basket before? I loved having it in the bed with me, when Issy was small. She was close by in my bed next to me, but didn't have to worry about her rolling away or me rolling on top of her.

Thanks Amber and I can see where my post would annoy you. It probably came across in a bad way, like I already had you abusing them and like your doctor was your drug dealer. I really should think before I speak about this subject. The sensitivity I have with it influences a lot of what I say and I need to watch that. I automatically go to my experience with pills and this is not true for everyone. I'm an addict
And think like an addict, especially when I'm using. I cannot project my addictions and behavior onto others. I promise I'll get better at this.
I'm glad you're not upset after time has passed. I will be careful in the future with this subject and more mindful of what I post.
I appreciate you being in my corner and rooting for me with my sobriety. Thanks Amber Smile

Yes, I used one for Lucy when she was a new born. We'd borrowed it off my brother and sister in-law but they are due in May/June! So we had to buy our own.
I loved being able to move it close to the bed. The one I got has a rocking stand too, so that's cool!

I'm having braxton hicks contractions already. It's so distracting.

Sarah, you saying you borrowed it from your brother and his wife made me remember about the cradle I used for all of my kids excepting Lily.

The cradle was a beautifully crafted old fashioned one, hand made by my grandparents neighbor (who has lived next door to them for three decades) for his daughter when she was born, then used by his son next. (both of them are grown adults now) whenever a family member or close friend of his had a baby he would send the cradle to them to use, and they send it back when the baby out grew it.

My grandpa brought it up from California for me for all three of my boys, and also for my sisters oldest son. When my sister had her daughter and when I had Lily it was being used for other children so it was not sent.

Last I heard, which was when lily was born and it could not be sent, 23 different infants had used the cradle. To me it was such an honor that he shared what he had made with my children, and I always loved hearing of when another new child was being rocked to sleep in what he made. I think it really means something to him that what he made has been able to continue to last and be shared with so many families.

You know what's really funny? When people "bounce" while they walk. Like...it's like a head nod bobbing kind of bounce? Do you know what I'm talking about? Their heads kind of nod up and down or bob back and forth, but ONLY while they walk. Hahaha. It's especially funny if they have long hair and are walking through wind. Hahaha. It looks like music is playing in their heads and they are bobbing to it, but the music only plays while they walk. Haha. I wonder if they bounce on bicycles too? Or roller-blades? Or on horse-back? Or on a jet ski? Hahaha. HAHAHA!

It's usually tall people. All the bounce-walkers I've seen have been tall men. Maybe it's a balance thing, with the height? Now I'm thinking of dinosaurs. Hahaha. They're dinosaur people. Maybe. Maybe they were dinosaurs in past lives. Or giraffes. Maybe they went dinosaur - giraffe - human, doomed to an eternal line of bounce life.

But they always have their hands in their front pockets too. While they walk. Maybe because they're arms used to be front legs?

Hopefully I'll give a free pack of cigarettes to a bounce walker on the street and get to see him walk away while bouncing and smoking. Hahahaha.

In college I was told many time, I bounced when I walked.
These days, I assume I'm more of a shuffler.

In high school, I was told I waddled like a duck. I probably would have bounced if I were tall but I was short.

PA: So I may just as well move into the DMV because I have to go back again. I am so physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted right now. I just want to melt into my bed and not get up until someone gives me a brand new car, offers me my own gallery, unlimited art supplies, and and WORLD PEACE! Who am I kidding?

Much needed hugs Hattie. I have to go back to finally register this damn car! I've been there 4-5 times when they could have helped me with all this BS in the first place but they are just dragging it out. And last night I also received two different letters from the DMV stating two different things so I have to call and figure that mess out too.

I never got carded on my birthday and I went out last night and it didn't happen then either. But it happened today at Sam's Club (bulk warehouse where you have to buy everything 20 pounds at a time). They were giving free samples of Shiner beer. I don't like beer but I felt bad for the woman manning the beer table because she was off in a corner, blocked by honey ham guy. Everybody was on honey ham guy's dick. It was good ham. Anyway, she asked me for ID and I signed my name on her clipboard and sipped my thimble of beer for the following half hour.

Don't worry, I wasn't driving.

Woke up to a livingroom full of twlveyear old boys loudly paying horrible shooting games on the PS3 and they thought they were here alone.

My chest hurts so bad, even my unpper back hurts. Can you get sudden accute pneumonia out of nowhere?

I also thought it was sad but I wouldn't have wanted you to change it. I doubt she did either. But your new one is cool too. You'd have to have something pretty awful in your sig to make anyone here want you to change it, I think.

I once had just like, a row of swastika tattoos down there. Nobody ever even said anything about it. But then again, the pictures were hosted by Photobucket and they got flagged after about 4 minutes so really, for most of the time, I had a row of squares that said "PICTURE NOT AVAILABLE."
